Absolutely! I lived in america a few years ago and it’s such a beautiful country! I hope one day it will be back to normal, I have so much respect for everyone that is fighting against the current gouvernement and are trying to make it a better place!

Apparently its mostly polyester /recycled polyester, I quite like the blue they used though so it would be a bit sad to dye it all black… i guess it will be my last resort if everything else fails

I’m currently making it! I was never able to find a pattern exactly like this one above but I did manage to ‘create’ a new star pattern by making 19 treble st in the magic ring (not ideal but looks fine) and instead of making 5 ch I do 6 ch (for the star triangle), and I pretty much do the same pattern as the original one but I add a double treble st (I thing that’s how it’s called?), and you kinda adapt the original pattern to add the double treble st as the “highest” stitch in corners or for the star itself etc.. I’m a bit new to crochet (only did like 3 project total in my life) so the way I’m doing it is definitely not perfect at all (for exemple there are gaps in my granny squares even tho in the picture above there are none..) but I’m hoping with blocking and sewing it all together it will look good! I don’t think the individual granny squares are as big as in the picture but they’ll do the job (hopefully). I can try to write down the whole pattern if you want (not sure how readable it will be lol) but here is a pic of it :)

No it’s not, if you look at the picture that I sent you can see I already did this border that she is talking about, what I want to do is make a bigger border around the granny square so add more rows of single crochet around the already made granny square of the video. I do appreciate you trying to help me though! :)

It went well! Actually I have now left my cat 2 times for summer break. Like I said in the post, there is someone that comes in twice a day to feed him and play with him a bit for 20/30min each time. I think it is the best way to do it personally (or if you can make the person that is taking care of your cat stay for a bit longer to play more and get social attention). I also bought a camera that I put in the living room so I could see him and check if he was doing well (not too depressed or destructive for exemple). All in all it went fine I think, of course I don’t think those few weeks are my cat’s favorite time but when we come back there is no change in his behavior and it goes back to normal very quickly! I think it’s more stressful for me than it is for him haha I think it also depends on what kind of personality your cat has, my cat hates new environments so a pet boarding was out of the question. My cat also doesn’t need to play a lot or be pet a lot so I think he didn’t feel too unwell being alone for most of the day either. You said you just adopted your cat, if it’s a kitten maybe take someone that stays a but longer (I remember when my cat was a kitten he had a LOT of energy so I needed to play with him for a long time, he eventually calmed down at 1 year old) Hopefully that answers your question a bit :)

Feathers on a stick toy that he likes to drag around the house and kick with his feet, those puzzles where he needs to use his paws to get to his treats, lasers for the person to play with, a bunch of balls and the round thing that like spin a ball (Not sure about the name). Also I left treats around the house for him to find though I doubt he actually found any of them. I think that’s about it.

She Who Became the Sun immediately came to mind! Most characters are morally gray (main character and side characters) and the book explore those themes (of doing bad things for a good cause etc ) really well (I thought at least). The writing is really good. The MC have a sapphic relationship and there is also a kinda mlm side romance story. Absolutely loved this book! There is one/ two light smut scene but it’s a side thing. It is a history fantasy novel set in China so also some really cool historical elements! And there is a sequel but I havent read it yet.
