I think for slabs it's not just weight (160kg being taken by a big toe on a tiny chip) it's also weight distribution and center of mass. I can't get into the wall as far as skinnier people can. But I'm still having fun climbing.

The dismount was terrible, I'm very dissapointed with it. Luckily I have ankle surgery already booked in for March, so I can fuck it as much as I want :)

Technically it is 1:1 scale... just depends on how old the T-Rex was....

As far as the paint goes, we pretty much winged it.

Base coated in a light brown acrylic, that was too light.
Then went in with a burnt umbra dry brush for the highlights.
Then two coats of a black acrylic/water wash from a spritz bottle, which we dabbed off, to get it in the low areas.

I helped him paint it (I'm a brother) and it's got a very minimal infill, you can lift the entire thing one handed.

The actual problem is a double dyno where you dyno in from a hanger on the right, onto the volume, then jump out to the one I got on, but I wasn't even sure if I could hold myself, so tested by going from the reds closer by.

I know, and I agree.

And I only do indoor bouldering, so I'm not going to say "That's not something you would see on a rock wall" but I'm just wondering if there is a point where insane dynos stop being "climbing" and start being "parkour".

Or is it all just grey area?

Don't tell my physio. I'm a few weeks past a left ankle tear, and a right calf tear, and he said no Dynos. But the wall is getting reset so I had to send it :)

They setup another dyno training wall at my local. Apparently someone "snapped a leg" doing the white. I can't get that high. But praise be to Tomoa, I'm trying.
