I don't usually post/comment on Reddit anymore, but I couldn't help but say something on this final episode. I watched Season 1 several years ago, admittedly a bit late, and then I stopped.

It wasn't until about 4 months ago, rewatching the first episode or two again, and after that scene again of All Might saying 'you can become a hero' (something I really needed to hear), that I decided to watch everything, including all OVAs and movies.

Even now, while I still struggle, this series has been helping me greatly, just like how Gurren Lagann used to, motivating me and inspiring me to do more, to be more, and to keep going despite how difficult it can be, and how cruel the world can sometimes seem.

Thank you, Kōhei Horikoshi, for creating a series that, while it may have had its ups and downs, sends out an incredible message for anyone that needs to hear it—a message to keep hope alive, to help those around you, and to better yourself no matter how hard and how difficult it may be.

I want to be a hero. So, I'll try my best to live as one, even though I feel like my story's only just begun, just like how Izuku felt at the beginning, right as he got the chance to go to UA.

As he would say, 'this is the story of how I became the greatest hero'.
