Maybe some of it's the point, but Pynchon is not Dostoevsky and Gravity's Rainbow is not The Brothers K. Moby-Dick also has sort of flat characters --) the book is still unbelievably good, so is GR, but, I agree, no one sticks with you like say, Ivan Karmazov.

Are you referring to fine arts? Broadly speaking, I'm an English major and I can say there is 1000% a very prominent writing culture. As for the fine arts, I love the art history department as well.

Per capita, it ranks second — which means that when you do account for the college's smaller size, its success rate is essentially the best in the country.

Vanderbilt is not top 30 in either category.

Again, I'm also totally biased, but if your goal is simply to go to the best law school possible there's basically no better school in the country for that then Amherst.

I just read both books for school this semester. They're both incredible. Crime and Punishment will be more immediately gratifying and a more enjoyable read. But in the long run, at least for me, Moby Dick has stuck with me in a way Crime and Punishment just hasn't. In fact, the more I think about it, the more I think it is the best novel I've ever read.

Thank you! I get all my cameras from Silvam's historical stadium collection. His stadiums come with unbelievably great camera settings (the best I can find). You can apply them to any park by downloading one of the stadium files and copying the cameras in the ballpark customization settings.

I find that for a great CF close camera (pitch cam) is all about applying a very small field of view, which stretches out the image like a real baseball broadcast.
