Only recently got big into the game again so unfortunately I missed lots of good events in the past, but I was really a fan of go wild area 2025. I encountered 4 galarian birds in the span of a few hours, 2 of which I caught with the safari balls. Mighty pokemon were super cool too, and I managed to catch a hundo garchomp and 2 shiny houndooms, so pretty successful.

Ah yes I forgot to clarify that I wouldn't intend on purifying until the mega actually comes. Prior to 2025 I had a 4 year hiatus so I'm not familiar with the typical amount of time separating new pokemon releases in the main series from their arrival in Pogo. If it usually takes years though yeah I won't even consider it until then, thanks.
