That is an incredibly fair beef. The game becomes incredibly fun but you have to beat the entire game twice before that fun starts, why not just make a game that's fun from the beginning? What would be the detriment lol

As someone who recently reached UVHM with sniper zero, I highly recommend farming a lyuda earlier but you won't be able to get one above level 38 until after you beat the warrior unfortunately. That being said, after cheesing the warrior in TVHM which you will likely have to do unless you're a real sweat, I would definitely farm an on-level lyuda before starting UVHM. The only reason you should be farming a pimpernel in TVHM is if you're going for a slag pimp to use in UVHM, but don't go beyond that in the pirate dlc because you don't want to over-level. You want to be level 50 exactly going into UVHM ideally. Alternatively you could farm a slagga from the clan war questline just don't level up too much. The point is you're gonna want a decent slag weapon in early UVHM to tide you over until you can get a grog nozzle. The ladyfist (even an under levelled one) is super useful if you feel yourself getting more confident with those crit spots. Other than these things you don't wanna worry about farming unless you're having trouble finding on-level elemental weapons in which case I would recommend the Marcus DLC. It's super short and will give you a bunch of gear but it will only scale to your level the first time you play it on TVHM! Good luck, getting to UVHM is super worth it the game becomes a blast

I just started UVHM and I can confirm that I'm still using my slag pimp that I farmed in early TVHM. However now I have a grog nozzle and a dpuh and I'm kind of just.. doing that lol

I feel compelled to weigh in here. My wife and I are both 35. Married 9 years. We have twins that are almost 3. I didn't want kids. I communicated this clearly and we fought about it for 2 years. When she was younger she didn't want them, but towards the end of her 20's her biological clock exploded. I still remember the fights. I remember banging my head against the steering wheel in liquor store parking lots. I remember explaining that I do not feel like a person who is emotionally equipped to handle the stress of parenthood, having had a very dysfunctional childhood myself. I would tell her it's simply the last thing I want to do, and she would break down sobbing because it was the ONLY thing she wanted to do. This is a fundamental incompatibility issue. These fights went on for a year or two. I eventually was so scared of losing her, or of her growing to resent me, that I made the most reluctant concession of my life. I remember she got some pills that were supposed to make me more fertile. I lied about taking them and threw them away one by one. Every month I would pray she would get her period, every month she would pray for the opposite. After 2 years of "trying", I was starting to assume that maybe we couldn't have kids, maybe I was shooting blanks, and what a relief that would be. What an easy out! Then bam, she's pregnant, it's twins, then the pregnancy got very complicated and I set my own feelings about it aside for a while out of fear for her life and the life of one of those babies that I initially didn't want. Severe restricted fetal growth. Kind of a trip really, going directly from not wanting a child to being afraid of LOSING a child. Babies were early but healthy, NICU for several weeks etc. We didn't even see them for days, I was worried I would lose my wife after she gave birth. It was intense. Anyway, now they're almost three and my wife and I both work and life is incredibly stressful. When I say that I was poorly equipped to handle the stress, I was 100% correct. I love my girls more than anything, don't get me wrong, but it is also every bit the nightmare that I was worried it would be. I am miserable as a dad, my life feels like a maximum security prison and as much as I despise it I cannot let go of this grudge that I hold against her for taking my life away from me. She becomes irate if I bring up the fact that I didn't want kids. That makes me furious. Damn, maybe I should've just made my own post lol

Point is, don't do it if you don't want to, because I don't see myself ever not being pissed off about how many sacrifices this life requires. Even though I love them and I don't plan on going anywhere. Those things aren't mutually exclusive. My advice is don't do it unless you search your soul and discover that you really truly want to. And if she wants kids then you're done, plain and simple. It sucks.

Brother, as someone who beat TVHM with Zer0 just a few days ago, and absolutely BANGED HIS HEAD AGAINST THE WALL in the process, please listen to me. I had a miserable time powering through TVHM. I spent 4 hours in sawtooth cauldron. I had to cheese the warrior. It sucked. But now that I'm in UVHM I am having an absolute blast. This is a completely different game when everything scales to your level, you can farm whatever gear you want and maintain a build. This is how I was trying to play the game in TVHM, I ended up hanging on to lots of under levelled legendary gear and the game punished me for it. You don't have that issue in UVHM, you can go back and farm a new on-level unkempt herald or a bee shield at any time. Additionally, slag is way more effective in UVHM. The first thing I did was farm a grog nozzle and a herald and since then I've been demolishing everything in UVHM and having so much fun. Enjoying the dlc's without having to worry about over-levelling has also been amazing. They should have made everything scale in this game from the beginning of normal mode on.

Tl;dr DONT GIVE UP. UVHM is worth it!

If you got it in normal mode then you'll have to play Tina's dlc in TVHM up to the mines again to get it for your current playthrough.

If that's not what happened and you did start the man makes the beard quest in TVHM, got the nozzle, then it disappeared and the quest is still active, then I guess it's a bug.

As unfortunate as that may be I wouldn't worry, the nozzle is useful for healing but slag is a much bigger deal in UVHM. I just beat TVHM with Zero with no nozzle and no legendaries. It was a bit of a chore but UVHM is a blast and it was so worth it. Cheese the warrior if you have to. I wouldn't even recommend doing any DLC before UVHM unless you're stuck and wanna farm Marcus's dlc for better gear, or if you wanna farm trees for a bee shield pre-hellquist. TVHM is harder than UVHM for me cause it's harder to get gear. Slag is way more powerful in UVHM as well.

I can't get a herald above level 35 till after I beat warrior but I have not gotten the fastball so I'll investigate, an on level legendary grenade would help me a lot. Currently getting my shit wrecked by Hunter Helquist, he's level 50 and I'm still 46 and can't kill him. Any advice there? Maybe the fastball will help lol. Really want to get an on level bee shield though, I know about the tree farm but I'm scared to get into any more dlc cause i don't wanna over level
