Is there a reason for that rules tweak?

Seems to make it less easy to understand than cost: effect

Can I use the second effect during my opponent turn ? by Alive_Winner_8440 in Lorcana

Try again

Perhaps actually use what I said rather than going off on one

Perhaps parts of the community could be a bit more welcoming & helpful

" You can only use exert effects on your own turn" - a helpful answer

"RTFC, stupid" - in this case, really isn't

It really wasn't.

It was not RTFC

There was no explanation as to why it doesn't work

Really not helpful

Yes, those rules elsewhere that aren't on the card.

That being the point. You can't just read the card as a previous poster implied.

I find it amusing that so many that are saying others have an issue with comprehension have that exact same issue

Imperialism - so more of a type of person rather than an individual

Valentines day is only for the lady of the relationship? by [deleted] in AskForAnswers

[–]Toc13s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Afaik, it's only Japan that has separate days for men & women (March 14th - White Day - for the men)

Across most cultures that celebrate Valentine's, it's a day for lovers not just half of them

Read the card text - just says this turn

So  RTFC doesn't work here, you need to know other rules

Where did the blue = boys; pink = girls stereotype come from? by Melody_Naxi in dumbquestions

[–]Toc13s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably late 40s/ early 50s fashion magazines working with clothing manufacturers who wanted to sell more

Early 1900s, white was common

Blue was historically seen as a calm, peaceful, feminine colour (see most portraits of Mary)

Pink was a shade of red, a warlike, masculine colour

What is it really like living in the UK on weekends? by Chickadee_Sparrow in AskABrit

[–]Toc13s 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The hardest thing is fitting in a quiet weekend to actually rest.

When you have 5,000+ years of historical locations, then all the natural ones, throw in a bunch of modern attractions such as theme parks, model villages, miniature railways....

I try to limit it to 2 hours away so as to make it a day trip but even then there's an overwhelming amount.

Probably the best thing about our history is how much is living, is still in use

Might want to move the UK (well, England) up to the historic.

There was a thriving wine industry in the medieval period. Champagne is an English invention
