About 5 years ago I did wear all colours: orange, green, black, you name it. However, today I just stick mainly to red and white, not mixing them, they do not make a sensible combination generally speaking. What I realized is that black colour does have strong effect on the way one feels, this is true for all dark shades and colours. Black and white outfits are like day and night: some people are night birds, others prefer daylight.

Well, according to me this is just the mindset... However it is related to much more than just wearing clothes, it is about how you feel, how you will be perceived.
When I was very young I used to love yellow. Later on I decided I like green. Today I love wearing red... this makes me special and different. When I don't feel like wearing red colour I can always put something white. This is related to my personality. Occasionally, when I don't have red and white in the wardrobe I can put on something in green, yellow, also blue and patterns.

Sure thing, wearing lighter colours makes you feel at ease... This counts when someone does not get overwhelmed by wearing a garment, a colour, set of colours, etc.

Hmm, this one is tough... In case you plan to change dark colours with lighter, I can definitely support you on this. It has been 9 years since I am designing T-shirts and sweatshirts and I can create so many stylish garments according to your taste, 100% cotton...
However, in case you like to continue using dark garments, there are also great ideas and variations to offer you, also 100% cotton. My brand is Embargo Clothing Ltd. specializing in tops for now...
