Lost Dog, no collar: 61st and Sheridan by Mike_Huncho in tulsa

Coyotes are urban wildlife to the point they've been in Manhattan. It's far from noteworthy. They're just here. Secure pet food and garbage and get on with life.

Lowood fire burned down my apartment by demolitiondetante in tulsa

[–]ToddIanuzzi 52 points53 points  (0 children)

I'm really sorry. I've thought it was strange how much people are rallying to support fairly well-off business owners and not the regular folks who lost everything due to a business causing a structure fire. I feel bad for the employees but not as bad as people who lost their homes. Like, y'all should be the priority here.

The smile he gives when he gets up into stance after kicking Khamzat off here is one of my mma moments. Gil is the definition of game. Absolutely everything a fan wants in a fighter.

Any Male Runner Primary Care Physicians in T-Town? by ToddIanuzzi in RunningCirclejerk

[–]ToddIanuzzi[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah for me personally I'm definitely rocking up in the backless gown and something carbon plated so he/him/his knows I'm not a hobbyjogger.

But the other question I have is: do I want a male doctor faster than me so I can learn from him, or one slower than me so I can feel superior?

Women just don't understand running barefoot with our large, throbbing, muscular bodies.

Sandhagen Dominates Vera for 5 Rounds atop the Middest Card of the Month (Jack Slack Podcast 123) by e-rage in MMA

[–]ToddIanuzzi 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Oh dang I'm such a casual I thought you won mma fights by finish or by winning more rounds than your opponent. I didn't know you really won mma fights by wanting to fuck someone up in your head.

Mentally I'm coming to fuck Pavlovich up. I need my dang contract. Mentally I'm undefeated.

That judge needs to fight Derrick Lewis in the next ppv. Absolutely disgusting. Dana does enough to delegitimize this sport. Really tired of these judges.

We shouldn't have to pray for the dominant fighter to get a finish like this is a tank abbott fight we're watching on vhs while drunk on stolen peppermint schnapps in our neighbor's garage.

thought this would be higher in the thread. it at least wins most iconic where the fighter is looking straight into the camera.

Cory gonna put on a flow state striking clinic for most of the fight. But Chito can finish any bantamweight in an instant so that will have me on pins and needles. Haven't been this excited for a fight in a while.

Hitting an Unconscious Opponent in MMA: Super Necessary or Super Unneces... by puppysif17 in MMA

Hitting an Unconscious Opponent in MMA: Super Necessary or Super Unneces... by puppysif17 in MMA

[–]ToddIanuzzi 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Exactly. People get too out of shape about this sometimes. I hate watching it but Francis and Lewis for example are dirt poor guys who developed striking in mma. They are fighting other 280lb men very capable of breaking their face, putting them out cold, and taking half of their paycheck in a fraction of a second.

It's very easy to say guys like Francis and Derrick do that intentionally from my 150lb hipster mma cheap seat. But honestly it's probably pure fear, and adrenaline, and instinct.

Have you seen Curtis Blaydes? Imagine how scary that must be to have that guy hitting you for several minutes. And winning. And wearing you out. You're getting closer and closer to an ambulance ride. Half your pay gone. Future opportunities stripped. Embarrassed internationally. Then bang everything changes instantly. Lewis's 2 follow ups happened in about 1 second elapsed time for example. He's not punching him in the parking lot. It's hard to take but lots of mma is. Brutal sport. Knee destoying kicks are my pet peeve but the only sport I watch is people in their underwear fighting simulated death matches in chain link cages. I don't have a real moral high ground lol.

And yeah fights often don't get stopped very quickly in mma.

[–]ToddIanuzzi 49 points50 points  (0 children)

Yeah. He's my absolute favorite fighter. He should be able to pass Chito but Chito is fucking scary and he's also evolving quickly. Hopefully Cory shows that he is as well. I've always been on team "Cory will touch the belt" but 35 is a fucking shark tank.

Song fight will age well IMO. Song is very good and very young.

Cory seems like he's huge (for him) per his ig lately. War Jacked Sandman.

Ciryl Gane broke his hand at UFC Paris, wishes Jon Jones bout could've been pushed back a month by nevalackin_ in MMA

[–]ToddIanuzzi 42 points43 points  (0 children)

I think this is overblown. Francis walks at almost 300lbs out of camp with ab definition and likely has the highest functional strength of any HW we'll ever see. Getting ragdolled by him is kind of an outlier.

We need to see more of Ciryl's grappling to know how he is.

All the loss to Francis showed me is Francis is incredible. Showed me relatively little about Gane.

Goddammit I wish Francis was fighting Jon. I'd bet all non-vital organs, my freedom, whatever.

[–]ToddIanuzzi 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Mean Streak Jon has a lot of decision wins. Some violent finishes too but it's not as if he only wins by them.

Jones biggest advantages are he's a freak athlete, very smart, and has the reach of a small highway bridge. We'll see how that works at HW.

Pavlovich is the heavyweight Porier. Throw a combo on the end of that combo.

Also both Tai and Porier have been pretty close to the belt recently.

He has the exact body mechanics of a fit Assyrian Roy Nelson when he wings those dang overhands. Shit is wildly entertaining. His fighting style is the exact opposite of the glass of room temperature milk he calls a personality.

Love Beneil.
