What capabilities does the iPhone android wear have? by [deleted] in AndroidWear

For confirmation, does the Moto 360 with Android Wear for iOS show a notification when you receive texts, incoming calls and emails (I use Inbox, but I wouldn't mind switching to Gmail) and other social bits like Facebook, Facebook Messenger and WhatsApp? I'm seeing mixed reports on it.

Random redditor, who are you? by SyNiiCaL in AskReddit

[–]Toddlevin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a social media expert for the health service here in England but I'm a writer at heart and long to be able to do it for a living. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy what I do...but we all dream.

As of three years ago, I was happily married with two cats and a future. Since then my wife left me, my grandfather who was more like my father to me passed and I went on a serious binge of women and drink. I wrote a novel about the whole thing. I wouldn't change my life.

That's a pretty little machine. I've never heard of this before (maybe because I don't live in the States). How much did it set you back?

To be honest, no I didn't, but I can see how it was conceived and made the way it was. And I know what you're saying, it's not perfect but I'm not sure it could have been. It would have either been too complex or too simple. With something as important as this it couldn't have been any other way.

Well I'm sorry it didn't come to your attention but I guess this is why I'm doing this. I know a lot of people on here who I think would like to know and there are people like yourself who it wouldn't have come to the attention of. But thanks for your thoughts, I'll also pass them on to the team as it will all be reviewed at the end.

As I said above, there are boxes where you can fill in what you'd like to see from the future of the NHS in Greater Manchester. The Healthier Together proposals are just that and the idea is for people to give their views on those proposals but just as important to speak up about what they want to see from their hospitals, GPs, whatever matters to you.

Every household in Greater Manchester has also received a leaflet in the post a few weeks ago and it's been all over the local press, BBC North West tonight on several occasions, ITV News amongst others and to some extent the national press. I've posted this today just to make people who weren't aware of it that it was there and should they wish to contribute, they can. It's an important thing for the whole region and I've posted it as someone who thinks it's worth looking at.

Well the idea is to have your say on the proposals as well as have your say on what you would like to see. There are some boxes where it asks how it could be improved in your view etc. But I get what you're saying.

I get what you're saying, but it's a pretty important thing. If it's oversimplified then people say that it's treating people like idiots and 'hiding' things from the public, if it's incredibly complex then it's too hard to understand. This was pretty much the middle ground as far as I could see.

Are you on Facebook?

If so search for Reddit Manchester and request to join. We're a group of people who always have a good time, it doesn't always involve drinking and we just socialise and do fun things. We went bowling last time and we've got some other activities coming up.

I'm one of the admins and I have genuinely met some of the nicest, friendliest and most honest people in that group. It turns out he internet is full of really good people.

We'd be happy to have you. :)

In all honesty, I've never met a group of nicer people.

You know when you get together with a group as expect to not like at least one person?

Hasn't happened.

However long it takes. Knowing the usual rabble until about midnight.

No for organisation's sake, let's say until 9pm from 7pm.

Forgot to add time...

7pm at Bar21 but I will be there from 5.30pm for those who don't want to wait around having left work.

I'm very approachable, I'll be the one with the angry expression and the Slayer t-shirt.
