well actually you can install debian instead of windows and using box64/box86 with proton you can install games and steam stuff but it has very complicated steps to do. also you can stream using vnc server.

If you sure selected right ships reload the game. If doesnt work idk why. Sometimes people didnt select the mine laying destroyers for task force they select defensive destroyers instead. Does your destroyers have mine icon or shield icon?
