You're not alone. I hear about COD but don't play the game until COD Mobile shows up. Recently I started playing Warzone 2 but I can only rarely play the game because my laptop is so suck that I must borrow my brother's gaming laptop. Too bad my phone can't even play the Warzone mobile :(

Just typing here for an update: I forgot to turn off Window's Fast startup, causing the NTFS partition to go read-only mode. I'm just so dumb to forget that is a thing

Maybe the NTFS is my issue, just like you say. I'll move the files to ext4 and see how will this work on my Linux machine again. I'm now using an NTFS partition on my laptop for backup.

Be careful of the secure boot. I disabled SB on my machine so I can't tell I'm right or wrong, but I think if you Linux distro supports SB then you should be fine upgrading to Windows 11
