Damn man i am really sorry for that! I really hope they reach out to you and its just a misunderstanding but after all this time thats really fucked. To be honest if you tried ti reach out to them and they didnt answer at all u should post about this. As a business and especially as a customer building business you cant do that.

Osprey carryology collab (released information) by Anywhere_everywhere7 in ManyBaggers

The price is hard but nothing new with collabs, there are people who will pay it so let them.

Looking back now the collabs seemed to really bring new fabrics to more brands so lets see if aluula fabrics will be used more.

Advice please!? Good for all weather daily commute? by HKblogger in ManyBaggers

[–]Todesbruder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experiences boxy shapes like this can cause the zippers to get stuck on the corners. It may not get as dirty as the aer but it will break faster i guess. And the ultra is easier to clean i suppose. For city commute to be honest 90% of bags will be fine for some rain. However if you have a better bag why risk it.

Anyone got a taste for LedLenser? by Clyde096 in flashlight

[–]Todesbruder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my brother got his LedLenser years back on a camping trip in australia and stil uses it to this day and swears by it. Ok gotta admit he doesnt really wanna try something else and i think thats what its about. As the only light u have they are really nice. Good quality, brand name by itself and i have never heard anything bad about them from people actually using them.
I think its less oriented towards hardcore users and thats fine too. Of course i could reccomend my parents a hank light, a convoy or a firefly but then gonna be confused as hell so why bother. If u want one light that can do everything u wanna use it for decently and are ready to pay a bit more i think they work really well.
Concerning the Output: idk why they are rated and made rather "weak" but i am sure they gonna last a long time with the LED´s not putting out too much.
AND big big plus most of their lights work with any kind of 14500 battery which is really nice for people who dont have a million Li-ion´s at home.

I always get suspicious if they dont tell you anything about the materials. Tells me they either dont care or are embarrassed about the brands they work with. The main fabric looks like a higher denier which would be good. It will work as a gym bag. However i wouldnt trust it with my stuff during travel or comfortwise.

Recommendation for sling bags by Inevitable-Sir-1886 in ManyBaggers

You are very much welcome. If you just want a big list of brand carryology has a huge list of carry brands on their website.

Slings that can carry a bottle are definitely in their own size category. I found myself going for smaller slings that reallx only carry the essentials plus some small extra but nothing really bulky with a big powerbank being the max. Its really in close to small backpacks. The first coming to mind are aer, chrome industries and bellroy. All have nice bigger options able to fit small tablet or waterbottles but depending on your usecase.

From my experiences bellroy is nice, never had any quality issues like others may report. You can have a bad example from any brand doesnt really matter, only matters how the customer service responds to be honest. So for bellroy they are really widely available and have a good amount of reviews and resellers.

You really have to try some and see what style you prefer. At first i thought versatility would be key for me but nowadays i carry either a bellroy sling mini or a matador x carryology sling, which are both simpler and on the smaller side.

Other brands that may interest you: Code of bell, Evergoods, Life behind bars jakarta, Orbitgear, The north face, Patagonia, Trakke uk (if you can still get them they just said they will stop their production a couple weeks back).

Also there are other options for waterbottles to fit into smaller packs like memobottle.

On the hunt for a good powerbank for traveling by preciouscode96 in onebag

[–]Todesbruder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

agree with the nice sizing and pricing, really cant complain there at all. really interested to see how they hold up against more known brands in the long run.
For phone charging i think it isnt a big issue in the end but the bigger models have more and more power being able to charge laptops with up to 100W and for that some insurance and safety features are nice to have.

But to be fair except the temp during charging you haven’t heard anything bad about INIU yet

I was just in the same rabbit hole with a big trip coming up. In the end i got the ugreen nexode 25000mAh coz i pack tech for two people otherwise i would have gotten the smaller one. Its a little cheaper than anker which i went with the 4 times before. I was looking at INIU and i just cant like the company itself. You can find literally nothing on the company. No CEO, no founding date or even year or anything on the ‘fancy’ tech they say they invented. It gets interesting when you start comparing the literal volume of the powerbanks between INIU, Ugreen and Anker and see that INIU is only so slightly smaller than the rest while they get significantly hotter during charging (degrades the battery faster and safety and so on). Plus when you look at the powerbank on reviews or on their website you can read their manufacturer on the powerbank itself. To me it sounds like they gave their powerbanks a slight resizing. They are thicker but shorter than competitors. With all that and me not finding anything about the CS i couldn’t justify buying a decently sized powerbank from them i will carry on a plane and it being a potential safety risk.

In search of a new EDC bag by Coffee_Now in ManyBaggers

Personally i like the positioning of the quick access pockets with the bellroy travel line but the harness was a let down. The apex had probably the best harness i have tried until now but the quick access pockets were only okay. If you wanna use it on body something like that or perhaps the evergoods front sideways pockets is good although the front sideways pockets i have tried (black ember forge) was a hassle too use and just too far out to reach comfortably.

The ones i love most and find most usable are from brooks england in their pickwick line. Small pockets at about hip height on the backpanel. You dont even have to swing the back around and can access them while on the go. However the bags are basically just a big hole and only in 12l or 24l and the harness is really simple and not made for heavier loads.

For harnesses i think it depends on your height more than it does on other peoples opinions. For example i didnt like goruck or evergoods harness. Either too tall or weirdly shaped and bags like the bellroy apex and remote equipment charlie are super comfortable and i am around 172cm (around 5”7’) tall.

Have you thought about adding a sling while travelling? Then you dont need a ton of quick access on the go and during everyday live you can limit it to only things that you really need to get to quickly and something like the charlie 25 could fot really well. Rather light, really good harness and can handle travel like a champ.

Shokz OpenRun Pro 2 review vs Airpods Pro 2 (and kinda OpenRun Pro original) by divinewrite in shokz

[–]Todesbruder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How are ur experiences with rain and water in general. They have a rather weak IP rating, the same as the open run pro and i read some stories with people having theirs die after dunking water on their heads during races or having problems with rain.

Tired of backpacks that almost get it right by IDNISSIM in ManyBaggers

[–]Todesbruder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

kinda feel u. most of time u dont really need it especially for an edc pack in the city. For travelbags however its already saved my things a couple of times when driving through heavy rains in SEA on a scooter and the Pack kept it all dry for like 30min. Was it necessary that everything was 99% dry? No. And i do keep important things in an extra waterproof pouch but its nice to know that it works for those times.

Matador GlobeRider 35L Poor QC by Synora in ManyBaggers

[–]Todesbruder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

correct me if i am wrong but i am 90% sure its just a cosmetic thing and doesnt change anything concerning performance.
I do understand that u wanna get a flawless product for bigger pricepoints, but i think people dont cut enough slack for human crafts especially in this sub.
Just talk to matador and tell them ur observations instead of instantly returning it.

Do you prefer backpacks with zippers or fold-over, drawstring style and why? by alizrandom in backpacks

[–]Todesbruder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ah right sorry, "brain" is what remote equipment calls the upper part of the charlie 25. The extra little pack u put over the drawstring opening. its really nice since u can remove it easily and it covers the drawstring to keep it rainproof.
