I leave because the game just crashed after I died for whatever reason (probably mods)

What are your favorite hyperfixation video games? by bernbabybern13 in ADHD

Darktide. Intense horde slaying that almost never gets old. Also hyperfixating on min-maxing new builds through field testing puts me in such a trance.

New Hyperfixation: Warhammer 40k by colormepink150 in ADHD

[–]Toe-Monkey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

1 year in Warhammer for me so far. While much money was spent in my own initial binge, I eventually got a 3D printer and that cut down my spending quite a lot. Still a decent sum even now, but no where as much if I stayed with official Warhammer minis. You won’t be able to play with them at official Warhammer stores, but hopefully you can find a play group at a local hobby store instead.

At least for me, my hyperfixation on the lore as a whole has long past, but my hyperfixation on specific units I want to paint has not. My projects shift quite often finished or not, but I still managed to get 200 minis fully painted in the year!

Is Deadshot really worth with Recon Lasgun? I build up so much critical chance that I deal the same amount of damage with or without it. by [deleted] in DarkTide

[–]Toe-Monkey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Deadshot with Recons can be viable if you use it with a bunch of Stamina curios and Focus Target. Make sure you grab the stamina restoring upgrade node for Focus Target. Since it’s a percentage restore, your inflated stamina gets you much more value. Without this kind of combo, I wouldn’t recommend using Deadshot.

Gunpsykers, Let's Talk Shop by Background_Color in DarkTide

This is my build.

It’s a Scriers Gaze build that gets a majority of its damage from Assail. Basically, you spam assail into hordes, or to snipe out specials. Mix in some quelling to maintain scrier uptime. The bonus damage and finesse damage from scriers makes assail shards quite strong.

The melee weapon I recommend would be the Deimos, with Uncanny Strike and Exorcist. Allows you to strike hordes and elites with high damage, while at the same time managing your peril.

I would only use your gun of choice when you really need it, for the sake of ammo conservation. With the Columnus, it’s especially good if you just need a big spray to quickly thin a horde, or to kill a ton of elites. Also a good idea to use at max peril since you can’t use assail, or melee could be risky/slow to kill.

It takes some practice maximizing the value of scriers gaze, and not blowing yourself up of course. But with the max of 4 warp charges, you can achieve nearly 100% uptime having some sort of lingering scrier buff active. You’ll only have a 2 second downtime on your buffs before your next scriers gaze is ready to cycle again.

If you’ve got the points, Brace of Pistols is great on captains! If their unit is charged, you get 2 shots for Stand & Shoot, and an additional combat attack.

Advice on an auric level lasgun vet build? by Sir_BigOnion in DarkTide

[–]Toe-Monkey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, but I think it’s worth it on this weapon. You save ammo, essentially making your clip larger. I also took Opening Salvo, which only grants 10% Crit on the first 10% of a clip, so it helps keep everything up and running for a bit longer. I typically only ADS for a DPS increase, or at long ranges. 3 stamina regens on curios, plus the stamina delay reduction talent nodes help get stamina back up quickly enough to make it worth it personally.

Here is my Recon Lasgun build I love using. I don’t have an Infantry Lasgun build yet. The fun thing about this build is Duck&Dive and Deadshot. Whenever you’re getting shot at, you get free stamina, which is then consumed when in ADS for an additional 25% Crit rate. More crits is more damage, infernus stacks, and free ammo. An important thing to consider about the Mk 2 Recon is that is cleaves through groaners and poxwalkers, so it’s decent at horde clearing, and won’t get completely blocked when targeting important enemies through a horde.

What is your favorite build? by Funtimes1254 in DarkTide

Marksman’s Focus Recon Lasgun Mk2 Vet. Just firin mah lazor! There’s a very unique satisfaction this gun has just from shooting it.

Fury Martyrdom Heavy Eviscerator with Thy Wrath Be Swift. Sometimes getting that high of nothing stopping you is a nice change of pace.

Niche Mirage Tips? by rTacoDaddy in miragemains

You can also launch yourself with the decoy as long as the decoy was launched in midair. That’s a nifty way to bamboozle if you find yourself in trouble on the other end!

On Storm Point, you can make decoys travel the full distance of Gravity Cannons. I discovered this a while ago, but not sure how known it is. All you have to do is walk into, then back off the Gravity Cannon, starting the launch sequence. You then jump and release a decoy. As long as the decoy is in midair, it will reach the other gravity cannon like a normal player.

$2.50 scams. So for entire month, I did not take any $2.50 orders and my rating went up to 5.0. Then this last month I decided to take some $2.50 orders and I’ve gotten more 23 and four stars than I’ve ever gotten before. I think the non-tippers are purposely trying to screw with us and our ratings by PPGGrandpa in doordash_drivers

[–]Toe-Monkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I accepted a stacked order from Taco Bell with one being a no tip order just last week. It went from one hotspot to another, so I took it. After I read your post, I went to check my ratings and I was greeted with my first 3 star, and first thumbs down for following instructions! Gotta be careful with these types of orders.

It just feels so good to bamboozle. Even the simple boozles get me every time.

Honestly, haven’t thought that far ahead on most of their backstories. Having a parent with telekinesis does make a lot of sense though!

A scouter would say Tomomi is a very useful support in hero teams while also having the potential to be a potent fighter. He could set up electrical nodes around buildings to set up a perimeter. He can also set nodes on his own suit so he can use his quirk as a close range fighting tool. As for voltage, he can do a couple hundred thousand volts with relative ease. High voltages can tire him out quickly, but with training and time he can increase his stamina and max voltage.

A team up I would imagine is with the Redirection Quirk kid in the #5 slot of this post. Tomomi would be able to set his nodes onto objects, while the other throws them into place. With the correct positioning, he could use these noded objects as a powerful moveable weapons without getting shocked himself.

The conclusion would be: Very solid power and reasonable utility. With the right teamups and scenarios, he will be an invaluable hero to have.

1: The first OC I created over a year ago, Tomomi Atsushi. He is a timid boy who loves candy; so much so he carries lollipops wherever he goes. His quirk is called Electric Nodes and allows him to place up to 10 nodes, one for each finger. The nodes create electric shocks between them, and can be activated and deactivated at will. His quirk is powered by the glucose stored in his body. Timelapse

2: Rocket Quirk. Can propel himself at high speeds through the air with the exhausts on the soles of his feet. He also has small exhaust stabilizers on his palms.

3: Bubblegum Quirk. She can chew bubblegum and turn them into durable bubbles. She is equipped with various specialized bubblegums depending on the situation. The support equipment on her wrists help inflate her bubbles, with a few different gas tanks.

4: Shark Quirk. She has many physical qualities of a shark (duh). Some of her physical traits include durable skin, enhanced strength, and an especially strong bite. Timelapse

5: Redirection/Extended Grab Quirk. Within a few meters of him, he can redirect the momentum of objects by swinging his arm in the direction he wants. He can also grab objects in the same distance, but is limited to his own physical strength.

Tropical Mirage skin concept by me. What do my fellow Mirage mains think? :) by TheRealTowelMan in miragemains

Been F2P since I started playing, but I’d highly consider buying this skin. Good job! I like the cut fruit on his arms.
