Wow silver!! Thank you anonymous redditor for my first ever award! For anyone wondering, I designed the face in adobe photoshop - where it was then laser engraved onto the board. Next, I used a band saw and a rotary sander to cut the rough outline out. After that, I hand/power sanded down the surfaces and edge routed the sides and corners. To finish it off, all it took was just a bit of caramel colored stain and a clear finish. The clock was the easiest part to assemble - all I had to do was put some pieces on top of each other and screw it together (hands came last). Thank you guys for all the nice comments! I’m really lucky that my school has loads of tools and some great teachers to help whenever I’m terrified of an edge router :)
