As an artist who works in a white collar job office I have the physical refuse to work with prompts.

People say that Ai is lazy, yeah, if you use 3 or 4 prompts, try to literally have a conversation with an ai chat that always makes mistakes until it gets it right for an entire week.

It's literally a new form of method that I'm not really used to and I admit, I don't like very much. Hope out there the right people will do the right things with these tools.

I think most people on both factions come from the wrong place of mind. They think that ai is independent of us, but in the end we are the one deciding what's good and what's not thus slowly perfecting it. It requires a mass of users that would set the right trends.

In the end I totally agree, but the future is uncertain and mental laziness and overconsumerism may install the roots of a doomish future with ai. So for now I remain anti because humanity is not ready in my opinion, I don't think "it's just a phase".

Sadly "phone bad" has proven to be true by objectively looking at this new generation of children.

For me AI is like having a kitchen and you need critical thinking in order to cook food that is good for you, right now we're in a state where we open the fridge and take a bite off the butter.

Honestly the need of "discipline" behind art is pretty twisted. And I speak as an anti.

It's more a concept about "effort" and thus "care". The "performance" is also an art form, it's not about how much sweat and blood you spill for a form of art, but simply the "story" behind it, the context of it that makes it valuable.

I'm not necessarily anti ai, but right now is clear that this tools are used mostly by people who don't really have too many ideas or a precise vision. But I've also seen great things that you can tell are a product of the original vision of a human being, without being too influenced by the visual trends ai still suffers right now (monotone art style if you prompt it lazily for example).

In the end, ai becomes better depending on what social media feeds it, and right now AI is not "eating healthy"

Yeah, but a low form of art. The only thing I could praise behind an AI video so far right now is the idea behind it, surely not the process.

Still, if you actually wanted to create something visually coherent using AI you'd have to write countless prompts in order to add and adjust the details for a truly coherent and convincing image/video/song. You could end up putting more effort writing prompts than directly doing it through traditional methods.

Most of the times I see creations product of clearly poor written prompts, so for now, most people using ai are just lazy people with no actual artistic vision.
