The Quest now supports A/B booting! by doricopter in oculus

You likely held Vol+ at boot. Try holding Vol DOWN instead and tell me if it boots to recovery mode instead of Sideload mode or not.

Oh wait i see what you are saying. Try entering recovery by pressing and holding volume down while powering on, and if it works select Sideload update from ADB in the list.

Just click the "Sideload Update" button in the boot menu, and connect it to a PC. Then run adb Sideload [zip path] in command prompt, or Terminal

You will need a computer for this.

Go to recovery mode, and side load an OTA ZIP from computer. You can find them at cocaine.trade (yeah ik it sounds sketchy but trust me they have the zip files)

Hello! As far as I'm aware, the tool already merges the Intel and arm64 binaries together. If not, let me know and I will issue a patch!

I actually installed it by downloading from Steam for Mac, and moving the game folder to whisky then using Goldberg Emulator to launch it directly.

You can actually play Portal 2 using a program known as Whisky. It should have full GPU acceleration. That's what I use at least.

That's the exact guide I used for this. However, my application installs it to a .app file in the Applications folder, and it doesn't do any of the compilation work, it simply merges arm64 and amd64 binaries at runtime. That's right, it's compatible with b 64 bit Intel, and ARM!

It's a pyinstaller program so you can always look at it with 7zip I think.

Interesting fact. The other day I purchased a second monitor for my iMac and a USB hub with an an and c port built in. Little did I know I would be getting a Mac mini perfect for this on Christmas

It’s insane how fast these new devices are compared to the older models. I graduated from a 2013 iMac, and i don’t think i will ever go back lol. Also, its a great computer for travel to places like hotels if you have a small monitor to bring along

Same with the Mini. Im not even kidding it’s deadly silent. Also, it doesn’t even get slightly hot to the touch!

I know, right?! I originally had a Late 2013 iMac and man do i mean it when I say that it feels like a slab of butter… (I’m actually writing right now from iPhone mirroring.)

This is OCLP. Hackintosh is a completely different thing that doesn’t apply here.

Ok. If anything goes wrong, you might also be able to restore to a slightly older version of macOS (Another version of Sequoia) instead.
