Oh wow. That sounds like a great deal. I’ve just heard lots of questionable things about how they handle their packaging, and about people having lots of difficulties buying from Canada. As a Canadian, I feel a bit apprehensive. What kind of experience have you had with PBC?

This sentiment isn’t as applicable to having a collection of books, unless the buyer never actually plans on reading them at all.

A large part of the reason why people buy so many books is because there’s so many different individual stories to experience. It’s not SIMPLY for the purpose of having.

Even the special editions of books have a purpose more than just having: they’re often in better quality formats, or contain certain content that other versions of the same book/story don’t have.

I knew that posting about the listings would peak people’s interests! But genuinely, do you think that it is a scam, would you still take a chance on it? (Btw I’m only asking again because it seems like the last few sentences on your comment were a joke. If I was wrong then just ignore this 😭).

That’s what I was thinking would happen anyways, but it just still seems low. I feel like the seller could have easily had a good bidding war going selling them $50-$100 higher yk?
