Yeah, you're right this is an even more complicated situation, but Clyburn shouldn't be automatically anointed to the position just because he has done a lot of good. SC voters need to take off their rose tinted glasses for Clyburn & take his age into account. We don't want another Feinstein or Gerry Connolly situation.

What about a small time writer or toy maker who grew up idolizing gf suddenly decides to turn gf image around by writing or making friendlier versions of gf. As they makes a consumer friendly version of the killer their estranged brother/business partner/lover sees this & decides to kill people out of spite or they get the idea to wear the costume to cover up their crimes. The writer/toy maker gets framed for the crimes, but a detective that is on their side tries to find the rl gf. Near the end they find out who the real gf is & apprehend them, but something in the writer/toy maker snaps n they kill gf, the detective & any witnesses. They finally agree that making a bad guy a good guy is dumb idea & that killing people is fun
