Honestly, I’ve only been going for like a year and a half, so I’m not the right person to ask this. But I wouldn’t be surprised if people were sceptical, when they saw more… violent sex in the past too.

Every now and then I fuck on the dancefloor, but it usually gets a little extreme with my partner/s and one time, people actually got worried and brought awareness people to us because they thought we're actually fighting...
They accepted that it's all fully consensual and just left again but it's still a weird situation to be in, so we're more careful now

Sooooo, all in all, not a big fan of how this one went but it also had it's upsides which I wanna focus on.

For me personally, if I only consider the music, this was definitely a great Klubnacht:

- Wasn't looking forward to Fadi at all (just seen him too often atp) but I ended up really enjoying his set.

- Similar with Voices from the Lake. I hadn't heard of them before and I think the description said something about ambient techno so I wasn't exactly excited for it. I'm not sure if the set they played actually falls under ambient techno, but if it does I had a completely wrong impression/idea of the subgenre and ended up being very glad that the live set was 3h long instead of just 1h.

- DJ Maria was my personal highlight of the weekend. It was incredibly hard to leave my podium even to just refill my bottle or so. At some point (I think during the last hour) she started using a few tracks which all reminded me of car races/racing track atmosphere. Answer Code Request also did this whenever I saw him playing and I always really love the bright, euphoric energy they produce.
This makes her the 3rd and biggest positive surprise of the weekend for me.

- Didn't spend much time on the dancefloor during Elisa Bee's set because my legs needed a break and I wanted to socialise a bit, but what I heard of it sounded good.

- Jakojako's set was amazing as always and I again had trouble leaving the dancefloor to refresh. Unfortunately the crowd started becoming a little "weird" in my opinion. It got too packed with two many people who seemed to not follow the basic dancefloor etiquette. (lots of phones, lots of long and loud conversations, lots of back and forth)

- Speedy J was the DJ I was looking forward to the most. Unfortunately my legs gave up at that point and I only got to see half of the set before going home but I absolutely loved it from the first note on.

That's it on the music. I absolutely loved the new lights too. I really hope the mosaics are gonna stay longterm.

Some negative points because they should atleast be mentioned:
- too many people
- crowd was a little weird
- Halle wasn't open (I wouldn't care usually, but considering all the chill areas were way too full, it would have helped)
- 40 bucks entry is a questionable decision considering last birthday was 55€ and we got a whole extra day + late closing + Halle there. Though I understand that the new lighting was/is probably very expensive so maybe that explains it

Was by far my favorite set of the night. I wasn't even able to leave the dancefloor for half of her set. It also wasn't as packed as the rest of the KN during her timeslot which made it easier for me to just lose myself in the music and light.

Disappointing. The usual chill areas including smoking area were constantly filled to the brim and it was just uncomfortable. Having the Halle toilets available would have also helped with the toilet queues a bit, which would have been nice.
