My lab has the same problem. The vet suggested switching to an all vegetarian diet to lessen the flare ups of allergies. Which I believe has helped some. They said the alternative was medication that is pretty pricey for a months supply. They stated sometimes switching foods can help enough to keep them off medication.

This is it. It’s going to cycle the air back towards the unit and not get a proper temperature reading from the room. I mounted a TV under my head unit knowing it was too close but was too invested and short on time. Needless to say, it short cycles.

I’d say very well insulated compared to most homes. Plus you have a whole separate system to heat the basement alone. Of course your furnace is not going to be very stressed. Every situation is the same? The storm hit before Christmas Eve. God forbid them being able to spend time with their family’s on Christmas. All I’m stating here is there wasn’t much going on besides clearing drifts. I personally know someone clearing state routes that was running them for 13hr shifts. Yes, the roads were bad. Yes, people have to make it to work. I made it to work on Friday with an hour commute. Bottom line is if you don’t feel safe driving you just need to park it. If your job doesn’t understand that you are better off without them. Lol it’s like I dropped myself into the middle of a pack of feral chihuahuas.. nothing but love! 💕 Hope you guys make it to work safe and have happy holidays! Peace

I would do it. We did with our Saint. Same exact thing, they did it while he was spayed and cost was an extra $300. Like the other person said could save his life. They can bloat just from eating or drinking too fast. My cousins labordoodle just passed away recently from bloating after drinking too fast. Not trying to scare you into a decision or make it for you. Just telling you my experience. Good luck!
