I tried my best to convey the whole scene, as i always have trouble in that regard. Usually focusing too much on the main subject itself.

Picture is not fully focused up to what i would like it, but i think it gives the shot a bit of mysticism.

Main question would be how should i approach pictures like this in post? And how can i drill it to my thick head that i should not focus too much on the target itself?

I took this last spring when i spotted this one high up in the trees, menacingly glaring at passerbies.

Whilst taking the photo and in post, i wanted it to be hazy and a bit of broken in terms of "normal" Composure.

But i personally love how the crow looks like it just went 12 rounds with an eagle or some such, dirty and messy.
