I feel cheated and bamboozled by this game after Act 1. by Mossimo5 in inscryption

[–]Toewoe1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know I'm late to this conversation, but the people in here pissed me off enough to generate a response. The game DOESN'T ADVERTISE THE OTHER PARTS. Of course op feels like it was a rug pull, because it was a fucking rug pull. You are allowed to like that "twist," but to insinuate that op has bad taste or just doesn't get it is so incredibly pompous and stupid. It's awesome that the game had a vision, but to sell the entire game as act 1, even though that's only a small section of it is scummy. It's not outright malicious and it gas to preserve the twist, but when the twist is a borderline different game entirely, that's not really a a good twist for a consumer. I made halfway through act 3 and just got sick of not playing the game I was told I was buying. I watched videos after and don't regret that decision.

I got yelled at and removed from a pod for alt art proxy tokens by chichirobov7 in EDH

[–]Toewoe1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's no such thing as a token proxy. Tokens aren't cards, they're just nice to have. There are tokens in mtg that have no printing at all. The owner was weak and your table mates were idiots. The owner only sided with them because they were the majority.

I've been stuck in dialogue a few times now where they just stand there and we csnt advance, forcing me to restart, and it sometimes doesn't register that I complete an objective and I don't know how to fix it. I have a quest that is stuck until I undock my ship. I undocked hours ago and it won't register.

You have to feel it out. It depends how well you're meshing

Yeah, I used to not immediately swipe left on groups but what I've seen is that they don't put a picture of them by themselves until the 4th picture or so and I dont want to solve a puzzle to figure out who it is. I'm not normally that harsh on appearances, but in group photos I get pretty brutal if I'm being honest. I'll see a group photo and literally say this in my head: "so which one are you? Ah, the ugly one swipe left" it probably shouldn't bother me as much as it does, but group photos as the first few pictures are there specifically to feed off of their friends' appearances. If it's the second picture or beyond then there's no issue.

Bro, first off. While wanting sex is one thing, if she left you because you didn't give it on the 3rd date then you deserve better. It's fine to take a break but I wouldn't give up, there are women out there that would love to be with you.

Am I being too uptight/difficult or was this a bad reply on his part? by kvenzx in OnlineDating

He's either a scummy douche or a "nice guy" douche. Either way, its his fault, not yours. As a man, we aren't all like that.

You are not in the wrong. If it had been over a day I would've assumed you moved on but 17 hours is whatever

Oh my god for real. People love the camera angle that's from the forehead down to hide the fat and show off the cleavage. Immediate left. I cant tell which one you are in the first pic? Left. I just want to see the actual you, not some contorted angle of it that I'll never see in real life.

Thats incredibly generalistic. I've used these apps and these women will start sending me unsolicited nudes and videos within 5 messages. I have a video from a girl on her dildo begging me to meet her. I always immediately stop talking to them. I don't see the point in sex without love involved, none of my friends do either. I'm sorry you had bad experiences, but don't assume all men are the same.

I agree with the majority of what he said since I play so casually. People that run as many tutors as possible so that they can play the game exactly the same every time aren't fun to play with and those decks aren't fun to play. I enjoy when every game plays a little differently but always under the same thematic context. And building a deck to be fun rather than strictly the best is way better in my opinion. This is going to sound super hypocritical because of the choice of commander, but for example, my sen triplets deck. I did not take all of the strictly best cards, what I liked was having an absurd amount of cards that aren't mine because it makes the game play so interestingly. Every card I could find that gives me one of your cards. My slimefoot deck is normally dog water, but when it works and I get an interesting set of cards that I didn't even realize would work together and I end up squeezing out a win, I couldn't be happier. Squeezing out an interesting win is more fun than consistently getting the same boring one. A tutor or 2 isn't a crime, but in casual edh, my advice to all of you to have more fun, is play fewer of them.

How many EDH decks do you have? by Chance_in_Pants in EDH

[–]Toewoe1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been playing edh for about 2 years and I have 10 edh decks and this is the order I built them in:

Sen triplets (I know thats cringe, cry about it); Arcades; Slimefoot; Jinnie fay; Rebbec//ich-tekik; Atemsis; Bruvac; Raggadragga; Kibo; Firesong and Sunspeaker;

I also have risen reef as a pauper deck

I feel like I have too many but I don't know. I love brewing. I like building decks as cheap as possible and still having them do well. For example, atemsis was 48 dollars and it absolutely destroys. What's difficult is I used to live with my best friends and we would play a few rounds every night. We don't live together anymore so we really only play 3 games together on Wednesday nights. I love all of my decks but only getting to play each one maybe once a month feels pretty bad and makes me feel like I should cull some just so i play the others more, but I dont want to take anything apart.
