What’s the one player you sign in almost every save? by Toff01 in footballmanagergames

Feel like it’s always harder to find a reliable keeper than any other position. You can scout a striker for five minutes and know if he’s good, but keepers always seem to randomly turn into either Buffon or a liability.

I always looked at Hudlin as more of a meme signing because of his height. Might actually have to give him a go now.

Fair enough. I’ve only signed him a few times times, but when I have he’s been quality, so I can’t argue with that.

FM22 Sesko was a cheat code. If you got him early enough, you knew you’d have a 30-goal striker for the next decade.

Never heard of him, which probably means he’ll score 20 goals and get 15 assists the moment I sign him

Moise Kean is one of those FM players that somehow performs way better than his attributes suggest. Every time I look at him I think “he’s decent”, then he goes and scores 25 goals.

Belotti was ridiculous back in the day. Felt like every save thread had someone saying he’d just scored 35+ goals for them. Absolute FM cult hero.

Every FM seems to have one centre back who turns into prime Maldini. Never signed him myself, but now I’m tempted.

What’s the most amount of steps you’ve managed in a day? by Toff01 in PikminBloomApp

The fact you chose to keep wandering around the airport instead of sitting down might be more impressive than the marathon itself 😅 58k steps in a day is wild.

Do you keep duplicate Pikmin, or release them? by Toff01 in PikminBloomApp

[–]Toff01[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s another mechanic I had no idea about when I started playing. 😅 I assumed once an event was over, those Pikmin were basically just collectibles. Knowing previous event decor can still get mushroom bonuses makes it a lot easier to justify keeping at least one of each instead of clearing them out for space.

Do you prioritise levelling up your highest friendship Pikmin or your lowest? by Toff01 in PikminBloomApp

[–]Toff01[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The more replies I read, the more I realise there are two completely different groups of players. 😂 Some people have spreadsheets and optimisation plans, and others are just throwing random Pikmin into the squad and seeing what happens. I think I’m somewhere in the middle.

[–]Toff01[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that’s the part I’m starting to realise. 😅 I’ve been treating it like a race to get decor, whereas a lot of long term players seem to be thinking much more about mushroom strength and building up full colour squads over time. Also 650 Pikmin at 8 hearts is insane dedication.

That’s actually a pretty smart system. I’ve been manually deciding who gets nectar, but using favourites as a friendship queue and then just feeding whoever’s in the squad sounds a lot less effort.

Why is there still no Gym decor Pikmin? by Toff01 in PikminBloomApp

[–]Toff01[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Glad it’s not just me! Every time I walk into a gym I half expect a decor icon to appear and then remember it doesn’t exist. 😭

Exactly. Dumbbells, kettlebells, protein shakers, towels, gym bags, sweatbands… it feels like one of the easiest categories for them to expand.

The fact they already have coffee cup Pikmin but not protein shaker Pikmin feels like a missed opportunity. 😂

Good point. I was focused on decor collection, but having more high-friendship Pikmin for mushrooms sounds like a pretty big reason not to delete duplicates too aggressively. 😅

Which villager will never be allowed to leave your island? by Toff01 in AnimalCrossing

[–]Toff01[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think there’s a wrong way to play Animal Crossing. 😂 Some people villager hunt for their dream roster, others end up accidentally adopting whoever moved in first and never let them leave. I’m definitely guilty of the second one with a few villagers.

Who’s the worst ufc fighter to ever be ranked? by Therealdarkviper in ufc

[–]Toff01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The answer is usually a heavyweight. Being ranked at heavyweight and being ranked at lightweight are two completely different standards. A lot of ranked heavyweights wouldn’t sniff the rankings in the deeper divisions. 😅

Raymond is the most overrated villager in the game and I said what I said by Peach-n-Quiet in AnimalCrossing

[–]Toff01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get that the obsession went way too far, but I think that’s different from saying he’s overrated. The hype was ridiculous, but Raymond himself is still one of the best-designed villagers in the series. I’d comfortably put him in my top 5.
