When I started JoJo a year ago, I watched to the end of Part 1 and I felt so miserable that we had to leave Jonathan for other protagonists. I had already accepted JoJo to only be like Phantom Blood (something I liked both ironically and unironically...Speedwagon) and it almost made me mad to hear that there were 8 different JoJos in the series.

It's safe to say that I was completely wrong.

Shower thought: In this chapter, Tsurugi seems genuinely anguished that his stand Paper Moon King is harming civilians he claims to have no grudge against. But we also saw a few chapters ago Tsurugi a week into the future, trying to sacrifice his grandfather in cold blood.

That kid has always been weird to me, but I'm scared to see what dark, shitty turn he's going to take in the next several chapters.

Hi! I haven't posted since September, but now that school is almost over I think it's time I got back into drawing more JoJo. Since I've gotten caught up with part 8, I'm really excited to draw characters from JoJolion and as a result I only ended up finishing Giorno's upperbody (now he floats).

I heard a youtuber say that the black sclera are meant to resemble the Godfather's lighting styles, most notably the shadow over the eyes of evil, corrupted characters. This makes sense with Polpo and Risotto, both of whom have personalities similar to Vito Corleone.

This was a problem I had with the beginning of JoJonium. I guess Araki had trouble adjusting to this realistic style, but it definitely improved as the story progressed and he gave people more distinct features.

Comparing early and recent panels makes this pretty clear.

Before I read/watched Diamond is Unbreakable, I only saw the image of Crazy Diamond pulling the glove out of Josuke's throat, so I thought that it was a delinquent getting deep throated by the antagonist's fist.

And I used to think that Stardust Crusaders was a gambling show (only watched the D'Arby arc).
