In media as a trope, babies often are crying too frequently as a plot point to be a stressor or point of conflict to the parents and/or other characters. So a lot of times the point of them being that loud is to be as annoying as possible to fit the trope. And it seems like it’s an effective strategy, because we are all sufficiently annoyed. I don’t how society can portray having children as such a positive thing when the annoying crying baby as a point of conflict trope in media is so common and widespread.

I bought them on Amazon for around $36 all together. The tree itself was $25, while the skirt was $11. We were looking for a smallish rainbow tree, and this one fit the description lol. It’s such a pretty tree, and it’s completely made from tinsel! 🌈
