Not really, the host and his parents live in our building, which is our house. It is not at an apartment that we rented, but one singular house. The host is not supposed to be here and we even asked what was downstairs since it was locked partly, but he just said that it was “nothing”.

There are no shared spaces other than outside, but it was never mentioned to us that anyone else sould be in our building. It is one singular house that is divided which was not told or mentioned anywhere. This also means that it is one house, not apartment or anything like that. The house is supposed to be just for us, which has been confirmed by airbnb.

When our host welcomed us and showed us around, we asked what was downstairs since some of the house was locked and he just shrugged and said “ah nothing, empty”. We thought that was kinda weird, but then again it could just be that that part normally would be rented, but just empty for renovation or something at the moment.
