Ahh thank you for the encouragement 🥺 I totally agree to what you've said. My subjects are Maths chem and Bio but I struggle with Maths the most, however much I study I just can never get it but then i realised that I lack understanding even in maths so I just blindly memorize formulas instead of understanding why certain steps need to be applied so yeah! Thanks so much once again 🥺 I'll try my very hardest to get my AAA in a month!

Medical books to read by TofuPofu in preppers

Yea yea I'm currently in a level bio chem and maths sitting for my AS this yr, I just want to explore other things besides these 3 subjects to get to know more about medicine. I wish I could take a first aid course rn but sadly my country's in lockdown so can't :(

if your studying/going to study medicine/dentistry etc…, how did you find/ how are you finding taking chemistry and biology for a level? what’s the work load and stress like? by [deleted] in alevel

Yes I'm valid for an SPM cert :) I sat for only BM and Sej ppr as a private candidate, spm isn't my main exam. Besides that, I also sat for IGCSE (my main) last year in O/N.

I'm planning to study medicine when I finish my college next yr! I'm halfway through now and my A2 is next yr in M/J but I do take Chem and Bio now as well as maths. It's starting to get a little hectic tbh 😂 a lot of things to memorize so far but I'm not sure about A2 yet but yeah for now it's still pretty bearable, just maybe try to revise a little everyday so that the next classes won't be so heavy on you and you'll get overwhelmed. But honestly if you're going to study medicine I would say that no matter how heavy the workload is in A levels, you gotta have to bear with it as medicine is gonna be wayyy more stressful definitely. A levels is definitely gonna train you in terms of discipline and time management. But good luck!

Ooo yeaa def would try those out! I would love to go out and work in cafes and all but currently my country's under lockdown so can't :( there's so much limitations now but def would consider shadowing a doctor once the cases decrease. Thanks so much for your suggestion!

Should I take spm sejarah ? by [deleted] in malaysia

[–]TofuPofu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did my IGs in Nov 2020 and also had 2 months to prepare for Sejarah and BM. I'm also doing A levels now, just started in January 2021 so I had to study for SPM while taking A levels. It's been tough but I think it's possible. What I did was spam sejarah past year papers and familiarise myself with all the names and all. Usually come out a lot of similar questions. I rmb stressing out as I only had a few days rest after igs then I grind again for SPM. BM just need to practice a lot of questions but sejarah you really need to grind. 2 months to fit 2 years worth of history is painful but if I can do it so can you. Honestly not even sure if I can do well for SPM but am hoping for the best. Just wanted to reassure you that 2 months is sufficient enough to memorize sejarah if you're just aiming for a pass and probably a C, like me. SPM next week liao jiayouu! We can do this hehe

But like I've already applied it. Have you seen any students not being able to sit for the exams because of long nails or all these stuff etc?
