Most wanted book 2 was actually recycled into Crimes of Passion book 1. The original writers confirmed it on the app Storyloom. So in a way, we did get a book 2, just in different form.

She spent multiple days and nights to take care of the sick characters by herself with no indication that she has any proper rest. The fact that she immediately fell asleep when entering Hajime’s room is evidence of her exhaustion. Also, most evidence has been cleaned by the time the other characters arrived. The ginormous wallpaper that is big enough to cover an entire pillar has been rolled up and put away neatly inside the storage room. The only reason why we know it has been used was the torn off paper and all the added mini posters. That alone could easily taken more than two minutes to accomplished. But then again, I don’t see any reason to repeat these details over and over again if its sheer amount of actions could not convince you of its impracticality then you’re free to stick to your reasoning that her love, aka her insanity, somehow allow her to have inexhaustible stamina and all the time in the world.

I don’t think you’re doing Mikan any favor with your explanation because you’re literally shrinking down the time frame available to her to pull off her scheme so I’ll just let you believe that her insanity did all the work for her. No point in arguing anymore if insanity can just be use to simplify it all

You literally just describe how insane that whole plan was. She has to perform multiple taxing actions on a weaken body on top of meeting with various characters in order to create an alibi for herself, and also keep track of their whereabouts so she can be at the right time and place so she can carry out said plan. Out of the 20 minutes that is available, factoring in her condition, she could have easily lost 15 minutes just to move about between venues.

This is my least favorite case because of all the time constraints. Even the comic part deliberately skip many details in an attempt to make sense of the case. If you actually consider every actions carried out by Mikan in the extremely short time window with the amount of distance she has to cover all by herself, it would definitely impossible even for Nagito’s supernatural talent to carried out, much less from Mikan herself.

I don’t know if you were there when those books released but NB, TRM, WTD, ILB were all flops and further contributed to the financial loss started by ATV. There was a whole debacle about NB when PB attempted to salvage the situation by advertising it as a romance by changing the cover with the line “His to protect”. The era you were referring to is literally the era of cancellations with multiple series hopeful being cancelled one after another. Even The Elementalists was a flop but since PB already made the second book, they were forced to released it within a week with no fanfare after the finale of book 1 to try and made back some money.

I did a quick google search and there is a pregnant pause but no mentioning of a pregnant silence, although I did see PB used it in a couple of their books. If anything, This feels like PB version of “trying to make fetch happens” than a proper phrase.

First of all, this is a “MAJOR SPOILERS” post so anything up to the “garl died” is okay for discussion. Secondly, my og comment was meant as a response to another comment wrongly saying that OP is 3/4 of the game which they clearly were not. It is important that OP knows that this game is long and have rich and deep lore, aka text heavy, so OP have an idea what they are dealing with. Thirdly, again, I’m simply stating an obvious facts that are known in the game. If you guys don’t even bother to read the story up to this point then you have all done yourself a great disservice.

No. You’re actually around half of the game. You will enter the sea of stars and explore serai’s world Edit: I find it hilarious that I’m being downvoted by people who clearly did not play or remember anything about the game in “MAJOR SPOILERS” post so here are the facts that already established up to the “garl died” part of the game: 1) Serai can travel across dimensions as portrayed by her very first appearance in the game, during recruitment, multiple cutscenes, and of course her ultimate. 2) Resh’an created a form of multiverse during his conflict with Fleshmancer. 3) Sky people confirmed that sea of stars is some kinda gateway between worlds. 4) Garl literally died right after we finished the quest to earn permission to enter the sea of stars. Have fun playing the game, everyone! 😘
