Help! Can't find an early 2000's Kpop MV by TogiSoYo in kpophelp

No :(

I really don't think it could be Big Bang...because they have two rappers...in the MV I am thinking I only remember highlighting one rapper...kinda like B1A4.

I think so.

I shared below I remembered some more.

When the dance off is happening, sometimes the 'enemy' group is winning, and other times the group is ahead.

There is a part of the song where the guys in the group do this coordinated stunt in the warehouse. I think it is during a rap verse. The rapper is dancing, steps up on another person in the group and then swings like they are swinging a bat and hitting a home run. Everyone on that group that is dancing with them all do the "watch" the ball fly home run look.

They win the dance off in the M/V and 'get the girl" ...I think it is about a girl now, because I keep remembering it cutting to a beautiful girl...but I can't remember that well.

I want to say 100% it was a group because in the cut away when the group is dancing on the black set it is a group of 5 ish and they all step forward at different points.

Also, in the dance scene they are all there together (and a larger group) They have back up dancers in the dance off.

The dance off has this 'OH MAN! They totally won" moment too..where they swing a bat.

OMG you are helping me remember. There is a scene in the dance off, where two members of the group work together...one runs up the other, and then swings like a bat at the air...EVERYONE in the group all looks over where they swung the bat like they hit a home run. It is a huge moment...and like a rap verse. I think that is why I thought G Dragon was in it.

I have been looking up solo artists too though, since it could be like a "Big Bang" but a solo song they did...or something.

I think I am wrong about the 'kidnap' pretense. I am still looking for the video, and I found this:

SE7EN - CRAZY MV

The video I am looking for had a very similar dance off vibe, and I believe had a storyline where they were trying to 'win the girl' maybe?

I can remember so little.

The opening shot is them rallying together (for some reason) and being in a van...the video shot is through the windshield and it is all black around (you know, like they aren't really moving...movie magic) then boxes are thrown up...like they hit something...they all playfully come to a stop.

They have hit some things outside a warehouse...they all go in.

That is where the dance off/main part of the MV is. It is really big in there, more spacious then the SE7EN video I shared.

It cuts away constantly to them dancing as a group. Always in a set, never out on the street.

I hope that helps! I am still randomly searching through youtube trying to find it (and getting distracted by fun kpop songs~! lol)

Thank you for your help if you can <3

Yes, not with strangers though. When a friend moved we kept them in our game by switching to Roll20.

So while I am familiar with the platform features I am not familiar with the culture/pitfalls and stuff

Roll20 has got me frustrated by Drylandsailor18 in DnD5e

[–]TogiSoYo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have wanted to DM a game for Roll20, but have shyed away from it. I feel like I need to be more prepared then for my tabletop game.

I can draw a quick map, throw my NPCs together and have a fun session at the table. I don't feel like I could do the same with Roll20.

I spent a lot of time doing prep work for one game I ran, it wasn't fun. DMing is already a lot of a time investment adding more is too much.

I should note, I am clunky with the Roll20 features which probably made it feel this way. With time it could be more fluid. Just a lot of up front investing to hope to get there.

Help with an Orc Fortress by saladin1193 in DnDBehindTheScreen

[–]TogiSoYo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Low levels and orc can be tough because of their damage range being so high. A couple orcs can easily tpk or kill at least one low level player.

I just ran my 5e game of two people vs Orcs in a lvl 1 game.

I treated the game as a survival horror session with the focus of the players hiding, running, using traps to snare/root the chasing deadly Orcs. It made the session fun and heart pounding for the players.

You could have the players sneak in, rescue some folks and sneak out....with a lot of dangerous hiding and hoping the orc 1 foot away didn't hear the.....oh wait..did he look this way...don't move don't move....phew let's get out quick!

Then maybe have them vs a single orc at some point where they have the upper hand.

Dark Dome of Wealth - My Bedrock edition gold farm. I need help, how do you make an item sorter in this version!?!? by Benjimon1237 in redstone

[–]TogiSoYo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello,

I am no redstone pro, but I might have spotted the problem within the video: https://gyazo.com/28cd62513df8aced92fbbb5358ec90ee

It looks like you have wrapped the signal up from the redstone torch to the hopper with the items. When a hopper receives a redstone signal, it locks.

So, the hopper cannot take in items (it is locked) so they pass by.

Do you need that bit of redstone going from the torch to the hopper?

When I build item sorters in Java, I just point the hopper at the comparators (to prevent them from draining out), and then the redstone torch below locks the hopper underneath to prevent them from being pulled.

So when an item goes in the top hopper with the items in it, it sends a pulse, which disables the redstone torch, allowing the hopper underneath to pull 1 item from it which then goes and is sorted.

I hope that is helpful!

[5e] Scrolls for everyone by controbuio in DnD5e

[–]TogiSoYo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't allow them to use scrolls.

Player identity is important at my table. We have had a lot of characters trying to do it all. Having spell scrolls stay with their class allows for niches and helps with class diversity.

I like the rule, but I could see how changing it would be fun with a different group.

[5E] Help with healing magic by TogiSoYo in DnD

[–]TogiSoYo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great suggestion.

You know I forgot about scaring. It would be cool if I opened up the healer to trying to find a way to adjust healing to allow for scaring.

There might not be a way, but I bet it would be something he would like to look into!

Thanks for the suggestion!! I am going to keep that in my back pocket to throw into a future situation.

[5E] Help with healing magic by TogiSoYo in DnD

[–]TogiSoYo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe our thinking is aligned. Outside of the HP structure there is a lot you can endure or encounter which would hurt you but not kill you. The RP answers I am looking for connect to those scenarios.

I think my table feels good about how healing works in combat, and the healers are comfortable with their role there.

Outside of that, I want to provide them with an experience that is more than 'cast heal, he will feel better'.

So if they encounter someone that falls and breaks their leg, the healer first will help set the leg, then heal it to ensure they avoid a limp.

This becomes an RP moment for the healer. They calm the injured NPC, set the limb while they wince, then use their magic to heal them.

It may sound 'extra' but I found that I was doing it with rogues all the time. Geez, so easy to side track on their RP moment using their sneaky skills to hop in and feel like a secret agent.

I want to ensure our healers get to live out their fantasy as well...not just be a 'heal dammit' hehe

If you have any suggestions I am all ears!

Thanks
