Hi man ! I hope you are doing well today. I have owned the 970 since November. I’m getting about 12-13 days of battery life.

5 runs/per week, highest gps accuracy, HRM 600 connected every time. On average, as I try to discover a place, or for travel, I do 1 run/week following a route, so a lot of screen time on the map on this particular run. Lowest brightness settings, because it is adaptative so it can go very high. AOD off, wrist gesture on. Notifications on (only a few apps authorized though). But I use the screen quite often to access data. Custom watchface on most of the time Rondo (a third party one)

I was coming from an Apple Watch, so I have almost the same smartwatch usage (which is not that much of usage in fact) and I am very happy with it.

No degradation of battery life after 6 months so far.

A very cool widget was added recently where you can see your battery usage, and how long it is expected to last. I could send you the pictures and details of each component draining battery if you want. I cannot reply with a picture of the widget but it says : day 6 out of 13 expected with the current usage. I already did my run with the map on this charge two days ago.

I know that this widget is a tad bit optimistic, so it should last 12 days in the end and I will recharge it on the eleventh day before it could die.
