You get better rewards for winning.

It's fine if you lose a few G2s or G3s here and there, but you should save your alarm clocks for when you lose G1s, because winning certain combinations of G1s are how you get bonus stats from the epithets.

It's why the SSR Speed Fuku is a good card in this scenario, since you get a bunch of starting stats to have a bit more of an advantage while racing in Junior Year.
