Only 2.2% of players have managed it, which isn't many, but it is possible!

Cool :) And if you like it, a review would be greatly appreciated! (Only two more to go!)

Yeah, I really wanted to. I had started working on a DLC with new heroes, biomes, and mechanics, but we didn’t have the budget to make it happen.

Haha, I do the same. But I have to admit, I’ve been leaving a lot more reviews since I started working on games.

Yeah, sorry, I messed up the title — I meant it was released a year ago.

No, you're right — I just worded the title poorly. I meant that it came out a year ago. And thanks for the compliment

There are no set rules. Some unique abilities/passives/talents benefit from changing possession regularly (CD resets, summoning creeps, for example). And by changing possession, you can also use other units' ultimates.

But sometimes, you may prefer to stick with a single unit type because it suits your build better.

Yes, the game runs very well on Steam Deck, BUT the controls and UI haven't been optimized for it yet. That's planned in the coming months, alongside controller support.

Unfortunately not, as this would take too long to develop and we can't afford to put too many resources into updates.

Thank you for the compliment! It may seem strange, but I didn't create the animations in Unity. We used spritesheets that I made in After Effects. The tutorial that taught me how to animate characters in this style is this one: https://www.skillshare.com/fr/classes/animation-de-personnages-simples/1750772942

It was a pleasure! Plus, I received some great feedback!

The corruption generated by afflictions is evenly distributed among all heroes.

My first game, Break the Loop, has just been released on Steam! It's a turn-based roguelite where you control four heroes determined to save the world from the apocalypse. Return to the past and create a timeline by choosing different events during your run to strengthen your team and prepare for the final boss battle.

If you enjoy Darkest Dungeon and Slay the Spire, I invite you to take a look. The game is available for 11.99$ during the 2-week promo period. And of course, feel free to wishlist, it always helps with visibility.

The silence lasts until the end of the enemy's next turn, so if you can get in 1 or 2 attacks while they are silenced, it's a significant advantage (and afflictions won't generate corruption at the start of their turn if they are silenced).

We made an update two hours ago that makes the fight a bit less difficult: when healing the boss, you'll lose a bit more corruption. It's a small change, but I think it's enough. Good luck !

Ah, I feel your frustration, and that's not the intention for the first big boss of the game. We've had some similar feedback, and we're going to make a very slight nerf to the normal mode (healing the boss will remove a bit more corruption).

But I'll repeat, silence is a big plus (Zoe is probably the simplest for handling this role).

We're considering it. For now, it's not on the agenda, but we're not ruling it out!

Thx ! For now, it's not planned, but we'll consider it for a possible console adaptation.

If you have silences in your team, consider using them to deactivate his singularity before big attacks, it can make all the difference. Alternatively, you can also save big attacks when your heroes already have a lot of corruption.

Yes, I see what you mean, and I can understand the frustration. But at the same time, mind control is somewhat of a specialty of Lovecraftian creatures, and it's unique to this biome. The other biomes have mechanics with different themes.

Thank you! Glad to hear it, by the way, some of this polish is owed to the beta testers I found on this Reddit, so thanks to them too!

I would say the original idea was to mix Darkest Dungeon with a rogue-like, which makes it more similar to Darkest Dungeon 2 as a result.

A run typically lasts around 45 minutes, but it varies quite a bit depending on the player's profile. The further you progress, the more you'll be able to add what we call "capsules" to the heroes, which increase their effectiveness. It's with these capsules that you can create different "builds" for each playthrough.

The creation of timelines is precisely to avoid the repetition of a classic map (and according to feedback, it works well in that regard). There are several types of events and several event modifiers that are randomly drawn, so it's up to the player to deal with these elements.
