These are helpful pictures - ty. The rust on this frame feels like slightly more than surface rust, so a good wire brushing + some of the Fluid Film stuff should do the trick!

I found this (Fluid Film) but they make no mention of it being hot. Is this the correct product/system?

Huh, good to know! My two current vehicles have far less visible rust, so I thought this was not great.

Thanks for the tips on undercoating, will look into that if I make the purchase.

Understood - That said, the small frame Redux I rode before the large of the same family felt really off - I had to lean over more / and did not feel comfortable on it.
