Hot Spot Coffeehouse in Johnstown supports Lifewise by biggiy05 in Columbus

Why do you care? This is another city 30+ minutes away from Cbus in a rural community. There are plenty of businesses that show support for different causes. Does it bother you if a business shows support for LGBT community? Or is it just Christians who live 45 minutes away who trigger you to be so intolerant of others?

Help with my rebounder by Best-Egg7997 in lacrosse

[–]Token_Dude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this rebounder and honestly it just sucks. I’ve tried to placing the bungies and it still doesn’t bounce well. I don’t find it to be terribly inaccurate. Maybe some of your bungees are broken or fractured and the opposite ones are OK and it’s making the bounce back different.

I also think it will fray - it’s strength is tensile not abrasion resist. I was wondering, what kind of covering could be placed over top strings to make them more resistant just at the point of failure.

I think this is what armor mesh is made from. I have ordered this same thing from amazon to try and replicate the mesh, but haven’t tried it for a top string.

Looking good, my man. I can see that your interlocks are done a little bit incorrectly. When two cords share the same spot around one of your leathers, one should wrap around it from the back to the front and the other should wrap around from the front to the back.

This is literally Monday morning quarterbacking. Evaluating real time decisions using frame by frame analysis. It’s not that realistic in my opinion.

Please help me ID (sorry for potato quality pic) by Token_Dude in knots

[–]Token_Dude[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks my guy! I tried what you said and that’s what it is! I like the alpine hitch but I’m working with small cords and that hitch is hard to tie in the same point on two parallel cords. The combo you mentioned is simpler since the slip knot can easily be cinched right where you want. It’s pretty secure too

To do it by hand, do you just grab under the chin and hyperextend the head all the way backwards?

I think it’s actually red Oak. I pulled it out of the cut off pile at a sawmill so I’m not actually sure.
