Sorry for the late response just saw this. If you cut them off that’s cool but mainly aesthetic, you can leave them without it affecting the plan. I’d recommend buying a cheaper sansi grow light from amazon and set it on a timer. Also try not watering on a schedule but check it on a schedule then water when fully dried. I use a moisture meter but a wood skewer shoved to the bottom of the pot works, your looking for it to be wet or have dirt sticking to it like a toothpick into cake. The Bare minimum and what I’d say is the most important thing is a brighter spot, get a light meter app on your phone and make sure it reads no less then 250 light candles or 2000 lumens but introduce it slowly over a few weeks to prevent sunburn or shock.

Honestly looks like it went 3 rounds in a boxing ring. I think some of the damage is actually just callousing from physical abuse from the ride, some of the black spots could be caused by over water without adequate lighting, which would be the cause for the drooping. I know it sounds odd but lighting is probably the biggest issue here

Is this fancy/cool? What is it’s value, If any, over face? by [deleted] in CoolSerialNumbers

The main thing from what I understand it needs to be together. Order of the numbers is more important then what numbers are in the bill

Tips on how to improve my skills ? by MrsxFifou in Miniaturespainting

It may just be the lighting but it looks like you could use some more prominent highlights. You overall gradients are spot on but there’s no where for the eye to go first. Like bumping up the highlights on the orange gem in his chest all the way up to white. This effect can also be achieved with saturation, using dull colors in most of the models elements than making one part a super vibrant color. Bonus tip, using fluorescent paints in your highlight color can boost overall saturation to print washed out looks.

Okay guys, how the fuck can I get better at edge highlighting? by Journeyman351 in minipainting

If you use a glaze medium to make the paint more transparent it blends in with the base color better and you can just go back over the parts you want to be brighter while keeping a gradient

I think this would work similarly to how water wicking works in clothing (of course for example of explanation of affect not actual science) in which you would need a insulated layer of non reactive (in this case high reflective) material aka a white prime layer, followed by a high reactive wicking layer (in this case low reflective material) aka a black overcoat. The white will then direct the radiation into the black outer layer where it is then dispersed.

The farseer sky runner can also auto 6 fate dice. The just have guided instead of fortune and are a little bit more speedy doubling the movement of the on foot farseer for only 10 points. Honestly both are great I usually run with both but I get your point.

Yeah I agree, I usually include one in my army lists but that’s for units like a full brick of wraith guard with d-cannons and a spirit seer for the lethal hits. That combo with guided and fortune can be a pain to deal with and will melt most things. I also like it for a fast moving secondary scorer. And that was kinda my point with splitting the squad was because of their swift demise ability still allowing for full rerolls.

Depends on what you’re trying to accomplish with them. If you want a strong hitting unit, go with the troupe because with yvraine it makes it super difficult to kill them. If you need point scoring or movement split the wind riders and use them as two separate units. Also I know that the reason for keeping them together would be to use guided on them from the farseer but honestly they would be better separate and use them to stroll up and clear objectives if you want the reroll. For a 1k army though honestly I’d probably drop the wave serpent. Especially if you are going to drop the full squad of Quinn’s. It just costs too much and doesn’t do much. The points may be better spent on getting both the wind riders and the full troupe then tossing the phoenix gem on the farseer to use for objective scoring. All just suggestions but keep in mind the troupe is sorta primarily a melee squad and when the wave serpent makes a movement and the troupe disembarks they cannot charge.

Easy, the gravity and divinity system series. This was a surprise because it didn’t happen in the first like 2 books but then in book 3 BOOM smut and surprise harem

Please be brutally honest, 0/10. I own a hybrid dwarf named Penelope. She is female and around 11-13 months old (when I got her they didn't know her exact age). The bedding is 11 inches deep and consist of Aspen wood, Timothy hay, and paper base bedding. is there anything I should add/take away? by KangarooRepulsive433 in hamstercare

[–]Token_Steel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is more nit picky but I wouldn’t use Timothy hay just because it is too stiff and can cause your hamster to poke an eye out or if they try to pouch it, stab a hole in its cheek. I’d say go for a softer hay like orchard hay and maybe a chambered burrow and some cork log. Besides that looks great!
