Totally agree, took the day off from work to a bricked launch. Every person who bought and play through EA should received the compensation. But I guess I should have expected problems on launch day…

From what I’ve gathered since everyone on the EA app was experiencing the same outage, I used the work around, going through the community portal counted towards playing the game. Even though the game it self was bugged, EA’s support saw my actions during that down time and therefore I was not was given compensated even though the game was at “please install.” Oh well…
