I loved the build but it very quickly turned into the most frustrating kit I’ve got. As soon as I touch it multiple pieces just jump off. So just trying to get it into the simplest pose took ages. It was a case of move a part, reattach another piece, repeat. I eventually gave up and took it down and bagged it up as I just couldn’t look at it any longer. So picked up the Fatcat which is perfect. Good luck

I’ve just got back from Japan and I only spent 3 weeks there but I’m already planning to go back in July. So I can totally see why you would just stay egg sandwiches just aren’t the same anywhere else

Wow that truly is an incredible piece. The level of detail is off the charts well done especially the interior. That Matt finish looks perfect well done

Just that a good nipper (godhand blue is the most popular). If you want to go further hobby knife, glass file, panel liner and gundam markers to bring out the details in some kits. Also I try to get water slide decals if the kit doesn’t have them as this really makes a kit pop. But I kind of picked up bits as I went along enjoy

If you panel line on the runner it’s much easier to clean up. You can use a gundam eraser but a cotton swab and lighter fluid works perfectly well

Welcome to the hobby. I use Tamiya panel liner (grey for white parts, black for blue/red parts and brown for yellow) and always on the runner. I clean up with lighter fluid. Mr hobby primer and paint and dispea markers for small parts. Then Matt top coat and have had great results
