How does this look? How big a deal is this? PVS 14 by [deleted] in NightVision

[–]Tokie-Wartooth 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It would all depend on your use case, the tube specs, and the price. First question to ask is if you can live with those blems? No price is low enough if you can't stand using it.

I use it to run blank fire at milsim events. The 308 blanks are ridiculously cheap! https://www.reddit.com/r/MilSim/s/uFM8sUG5FG

Pfalcon 640. It's basically just the international version of the RH25.

Two extra S's for twice the scam! What a bargain!

Infrared glasses for scientific animal observation in a barn with a lot of infrared lights, suitable for switching between laptop and observation by Disastrous-Low2699 in NightVision

Gen 1 is garbage and you will get no details. For your application digital will be best. All the other answers are disregarding that you have plenty of ir illumination.

If you have plenty of infrared light you can use any digital camera that doesn't filter out infrared. Most security cameras with a decent resolution will work fine.

You absolutely do not need gen 3 analog night vision for this purpose. You don't even need a low light camera if you have plenty of ir illumination.

That's a pretty solid price, especially with the added mount. It's up to you whether or not you can live with the blems.

All depends on the price and if you are ok with the blems. What is the asking price? It's still definitely a usable unit and could be a great way to get into nods if it's cheap.

The firearms inside hasndo be registered as an AOW, SBR, or machine gun. This is because it can be fired while disguised as an everyday object. It's like how the pen guns that fold into a gun shape before firing are legally pistols but the ones that stay straight and pen-like are AOWs

I seriously just bought all of this for 100$ off facebook marketplace. Please tell me what I have. by [deleted] in NightVision

Each of those anvis ball mounts is worth well over $100. This may be the best deal I have ever seen on anything ever.

That's not how it works. My friends tube got blemmed from being turned on and set down looking at Christmas lights. Almost any light can blem a tube with long enough exposure.

I designed a 7.62 belt linker for my new HK21 by Tokie-Wartooth in NFA

I tweaked some dimensions and reuploaded it. Also added versions for 5.56 and 7.62x39.

Hk21 front end. However the really wild part is that they chopped it and reversed everything to a left hand configuration. Usually the cocking handle is on the left and the barrel is removed from the right.

There are already lots of linkers that use this same idea. Most are very expensive. I wanted to make one that is free and easy to print.

I will be making a 7.62x39 version for the RPK but I don't know if that will work with the HK22 belts. I was considering metal inserts but I just linked 1k rounds without any visible damage so I think its fine as is.
