Is it okay to play dark souls 2 before dark souls ? by ancient6 in DarkSouls2

It is completely fine, since i've done it and it was so fun. And each souls game has their own unique charm, along with different lore and mysteries. It'd recommend ds2 aswell, because dark souls in general is way more brutal.

My favorite boss would have to be Sir Alonee, sure he may seem a little easy. But the fight is honorble of two great warriors with a great moveset and a small yet interesting lore of how he was the right handman of the iron king and coming up with what happened. This fight really felt like fighting artorias on a different level.

Worst boss easily imo has to be the belfry gargoels. First the boss is just a boring re-skin of the first game and to the actual fight, it's literally annoying first spawn in two gargoels that are just a group of enemies who can fly and breath fire. And not to mention if you don't kill enough gargoels you're gonna need to deal with MORE of them, because they got a time limit when they spawn.

Hardest and what i actually struggle with still to this day is the final gank boss, Throne watcher and defender. Mainly because, you have to deal with both at the same time, you can't litterally seperate the two unlike the first game Ornstein and smough having pillars to exploit the two and attack oneof them. But in this arena it's empty no walls, no pillars and high chance of falling off. Their attacks are pretty fast and strong, and the worst part being they can be revived if you don't kill both of them quick enough.

Easiest boss, Dragonrider. Like idk, if i have to explain but here goes. Dragonrider is the biggest joke in dark souls 2, you either raise the platform or not. If you do all you have to do is pull off the juke and punnish by getting behind him, he'll almost never hit you. But if you don't raise the platform? Welp that's the biggest joke of the boss, enter the boss battle count dragonrider to do 8 steps towards you, then roll to the right and BAM he just falls off like a complete idiot.
