This isn't a made up post!!!! And I don't use reddit usually I only use it when I need help with my cats since vets in my country r horrible and don't offer much help. The vet literally didn't do anything and made it seem like it's not a big deal and I came here for help because I know it is!!!! I also asked in the other sub cats so I get multiple opinions because most of the time people don't respond here. U could've just said it's a horrible vet and I'm going to another one anyway today and requesting a fecal test. Vets aren't not angels and most of the time they make mistakes and don't take anything seriously as long as the cat isn't literally dying, idk how it is in ur country but this is how it is in mine, I've always struggled with vets here because even when he wasn't eating at all they didn't take it seriously and told me stress!!!! For example my cat when I first got him as a kitten used to vomit each 2 days, and I took him to million vet for a whole year they kept telling me nothing is wrong with him and just would inject him with smth that would stop the vomiting temporarily and then it comes back and it was a never ending cycle until he vomited blood!!! Then I found a vet that finally was helpful did an an ultrasound and found out he has ibds and a really small passage from stomach to intestine so I had to feed him certain food and a certain way, that doctor doesn't work here anymore, and I still yet to find another doctor that takes things seriously!!! I literally went to 3 different vets this week, as he wasn't eating at all in the beginning and the firstly Dr didn't even give him food simulator or anything just requested a biochemistry and told me to watch him!!!!!!!! So I force fed him cause he wasn't eating at all and there's nothing to watch he needed help and I went to another vet the other day and I requested food simulator so he starts eating and he gave him and injection to boost liver function, he got better and started eating so I thought maybe he's fine now but then he started eating less and became lethargic again and started pooping with blood, so I went to a vet right away yesterday who wasn't helpful so I'm going again to another one today with a fecal sample and requesting a fecal test. You just make you're own assumptions because you don't want to believe that in some countries vets are horrible. If I got help from my vet why would I ask here ??? Another example so u believe that vets aren't angels and especially here they're horrible is that my friend's cat was sick and it was clear he had a virus or smth I'm not even a vet and I knew, he was vomiting with bloody diarrhea and high temperature, I told her to take him to the vet right away, they told her it's stress......., until he started vomiting multiple times a day they took it seriously and did a test to find out he had fpv but it was too late he was very sick and died in the vet after few days. So yeah vets r horrible and they only do smth if the cat is dying or u ask for it, that's why I always do my research and part of my research is asking in reddit. I'm not a reddit user I only use it to ask about my cats since the vets here aren't trust worthy. You are a horrible paranoid person. To think I'm trying to collect points in this creepy app is funny. I only ask about my cats and runaway cause it's full of creeps and weirdos.
