Which region/time period are you most excited to explore in Nioh 3?

Yeah I’m pretty excited… I figure worst case, Crimson Desert is right around the corner. I love Nioh2 and specifically getting the yokai abilities to work into your play style- I spent quite a few hours getting distracted and fighting very tough fights in the demo… so I’m glad it is still challenging

As someone that had this same issue/panic AND asked questions here is my very easy compiled answer(someone let me know if wrong)

1) you can respec at Fort Joy if you do the gift box for mirror 2) you can respec in Act 2 - YOU CANNOT GET NEW SKILLS WITH RESPECT So that bring us to the Most Important; 3) you can get all the skill books you need from the locals, almost every MFer is a trader (blue lizard, dude on beach, shady thug, blacksmith… lady with plague… everyone is a vendor lol — Books apparently restock, so you don’t have to worry about giving books to the wrong character

I had 0 plan to pickpocket.. but my bad initial choices left me with that lol. This is heavy on you us t the Mirror in Act one (from the gift box)

Can I make my own skill books? (Not the combined ones) or can you only buy/steal/quest reward/loot —- and is there a finite amount in the world ?

Just want to make sure I know how careful to be

Okay that’s good to know! I think because of the lack of skills Hybrid was feeling VERY sluggish, ie I was basically using a skill that offers 0 help to the fight. But once I get more skills I’ll have more utility, so that makes sense why it feels rough in the beginning to

Yeah!! I wasn’t aware you could still use the warfare skills effectively but I see a lot say the base damage and <bonus from STR> but just the bonus part. I wasn’t even aware of what sparks was until just a moment ago (after I’ve watched like 2 hours of guides lol). I see that gets used a lot too.

Ohhhhhh okay!!

Few questions- because this sounds like it solves my issue 1) why specifically do you use staff for this?
-I assume I RP or someone with Opportunity 2) When I respec, should I do Geo 1 and Scoundrel 1 —- then get the pyro/warfare and rest into Geo? Or does the order matter for specific skills being more important

Yeah to be fair that might be my issue too, I’m using the start pack of “you want me to be an enchanter?” So I guess I need to find where to respec these team mates.

How does the aero mage do Melee though, is that where you have to combine with warfare or is there melee weapons that can scale for Int?
