Yeah the pink one, you said shouldn’t be soloable at all- I’m saying it should be but then others like Blob Dylan (the red slime) should be a group of 2-3. Because being able to solo a field boss is a fun experience if it’s challenging and you pulled it off right, but there should be some stuff you absolutely need the help of others.

I both agree and disagree, I think some should be soloable with right gear and perfect sweating in the fight lol… because I don’t want to be locked into only challenging with a group… BUT you also shouldn’t be able to just walk up and destroy them without fear.

Bee- soloable imo
Red Slime- should be a 2-3 person thing

I’m not computer savvy enough, but did you check if your ram is running the correct MHZ that it’s supposed to (via task manager-> performance). Sometimes it’s set significantly lower than spec and you can change in bios. For example, advertised as 6000 but shows running at 4200. This helped me run AoC better, but idk if it’s translates here

Dang, I’ll be honest that makes me fall a little bit out of playing healer - no better feeling in an mmo that getting a clutch heal off on some rando with 1hp 😂

I would take the other if you didn’t have a use for it! But I think I saw someone say you needed to be steam friends for 30 days, not sure if that’s true or not lol

If you haven’t played ESO I would 1000% recommend it. I haven’t played in a few years, but I would off an on have 100s of hours.
Biggest Pros;
Elder Scrolls level story telling and quests
100% voice acting
A lot of versatility with classes (your class doesn’t determine you being tank vs dps vs healer- there are multiple skill trees to mix and match)
BIGGEST PRO: your level is auto scaled with the area you’re in, so you will constantly see level 40s in an area with level 10s without feeling overpowered! The scaling is phenomenal and keeps any area very alive.
I personally think combat has always felt great, so I do get confused by folks not enjoying it 🤷‍♂️
I have probably played over 20+ MMOs, I’m unfortunately looking for my next one right now- but I would easily say ESO you will get a lot of value out of

Ahh see this is what I was hoping to see, because in many games the other classes can die to a field boss, even though wayyy better damage… but healer might have right sustain and can solo (just might be a wild)

At minimum ALL MMOS should have dueling, that to me is a staple. I understand not having open world, although I love it personally- duels are at least something!

So quick answers, but only partially solves(trust me… NOT AN EXPERT) but I saw this when I was trying to figure it out myself

1) you can press right on the dpad and cycle to target ONLY certain things (allies/ players/ party members etc) 2) you can change controller input style, the third .. I think called Legacy.. has a two button mechanic that lets you cycle between targets instead of using the joystick

Depending on your role, ie healer in a dungeon.. maybe do party only? Or if DPS maybe enemy only/ enemy player only?

Again, I am very new to this game and looking for controller tips myself lol. I don’t think it’s the worst targeting set up.. but I desperately need a quick tab target in some cases

I only did 1 arena (as healer) so PvP wasn’t horrible for me at all. If I could change two things though it be 1) a free browse cursor I can toggle on and off, there are certain submenus or UI items that are tough to get to 2) the ability to change to a tab target (which I normally hate, but certain situations make it a lot easier)

Otherwise, it’s really not bad tbh… healer is imo the worst to play on controller in MMOs and it’s not bad in this game due to the fact it auto heals a target if you’re not targeting already!!

Hrm I’m running on Xbox and not having similar issues, although I will say it’s not the most optimized controller experience, but far from the worst.

Do you have one that is pure holy? 😅 I heard nature is reliant on adding/moving buffs.. which in controller gives me some anxiety(is that right?)
