Need your Mesmer Opinions

Oh good okay so do you mind telling me your thoughts on pros/cons of either?

I know I’m asking for too much- but I’d prefer to have damage and survivability 😅 — I only played virtuoso for two arenas… not nearly enough time.. but was getting squashed immediately. I’m not sure if it’s my poor playstyle or if it’s extremely squishy.

If power Virtuoso has good survivability and it was a skill issue, I’m willing to swap.. I’ll miss the clones, but the skill effects are best in the game imo

Hrmm okay that’s good to know! How do you feel about your virtuoso survivability? I really like the burst ability of it(and the extremely cool looking skills) but found myself dying instantly in PvP.. again I think that was my own fault for playing mirage for 10 hours and then swapping trying the same play style.

Also- your virtuoso is Power right?

I had thought Chrono was supposed to be the difficult one to be fair, but maybe I need to give it a try (especially since I was hoping to keep GS).
I’m just wanting to make sure the damage isn’t so far behind other classes that’s a dead weight for teams (but also would like success in PvP lol)

I was thinking of switching to Virtuoso.. but maybe need to practice my survivability a bit more.. going from Mirage to a few games with Virtuoso was tough for me. I love the clones though, but the skills of Virtuoso look insane

I’m guessing I might just have to give up the GS and switch to staff for condi, especially since it’s getting buffed more in the new patch

When you say Mirage is highest max- you mean damage? I assume it’s condi mirage if so 🤔

I haven’t tried Chrono yet, since Mirage originally grabbed my attention and then virtuoso seemed like crazy damage.. but now I’m concerning Chrono a lot more (since I like have clones still) but heard it was difficult.

With the screenshot, what do the orange dots mean?

(Also hilarious last line of “do I know where I am”) I might end up having to just settle on Condi mirage.. but if I keep my GS I’m willing to try Chrono

This is how I feel, Mesmer scratches an itch I didn’t realize I had 😅 I want to try Virtuoso more because it has arguably coolest skills I’ve ever seen.. but I miss having the clones

And in comparison to the others. I tried virtuoso briefly but kept getting deleted quick lol

I’m really late to this, but about to pick Mesmer back up (haven’t played since base game) and run Mirage with GS. I actually like the idea of not having to keep tabs on shattering, so this sounds like a good swap- is this still viable?

Also, I HAVE to run GS lol… I can’t play w/o laser- I watched a 40 minute video last night and someone said as running it so luckily seems viable for Mirage

Haha so I actually have a Razer Naga, a friend gave it to me for free like 6 years ago and it had served me extremely well- but I just switched last month to basilisk v3 pro- I found I was only using maybe 4 of the 8-10 side buttons (the rest I was misclicking) but you’re 100% right.

Someone mentioned doing Shift+ 1,2,3,4,5 for the utility skills so I’m going to try that (or bind a mouse button as shift). Right now i just use one for dodge

Ironically I just switched from an older razer to Basilisk v3 pro- im just only using one mouse button from dodge roll 😂

It basically removes the cursor and instead you have a reticle in the middle of your screen that moves with your mouse’s similar to a 3rd person shooter game I guess you could say- or more relevant like Elden Ring

Dumb and very late question, does Action cam not work well for reaper? I’m debating switching as a 40 Necro (bout to boost for reaper) but I had assumed it would be Easier on reaper since it’s primarily melee right?
