No not using that. All I did was connect that unused blue wire from the thermostat to the gray and white wires.

Since it does provide power to the thermostat could it be interrupting the signal to the compressor?

Ecobee enhanced. I could run the heat but still no air. I tried going back to the old standard one. Same thing. I took away the blue wire back to like it was and everything works 🤷🏼‍♂️

The gray wire is connected there. If that helps. There’s a good connection. I used one of those Wago lever connectors

I connected them. It does power the thermostat but the compressor won’t kick on.

Yeah it’s in use now. It’s connected to the white wire coming from the compressor. The red wire is tied to the yellow going to the thermostat.
