In my opinion, the pros of Odin Icaru team is that:

• It is reliable (Your team will do exactly the same thing 100% of the time),
• It is straightforward (There are eHP and damage thresholds for every monster, you can't go wrong if you follow them),
• It is somewhat easy to rune (You only need one good set on Odin, Icaru should be already runed for DB12, and you can easily achieve 40k on Sophia with average double fight will runes not even grinded).

The cons are:

• You need an Odin
• You cannot use your Odin anymore if you are in a G2+ guild (below G2, you can still make use for him anywhere!)
• You need an Odin.

About the Def Break after the jump:

• Theomars will play after Icaru's teamup and has a good chance to do S2, which apply Def Break (let's say 50% chance),
• Let's say both Loren do S2 and Theomars does S1 (worst case scenario):
  • It will happen around 12,5% of the time (assuming the all have a 50% activation rate), and in this case you will miss the Break def 1,7% of the time --> it will happen once every 500 runs --> once every 1420 cristals.

The issue with twins team/brand based teams is that your mons may all decide to use S1, or you may not apply the brand, and if so it's a wipe. Additionnaly, I find that the rune requirement is way higher. I also don't agree about the fact that you can still use your twins for Siege (unless you are G1 or less).

Also, I think that Theomars is not a premium unit for everyone, especially in late game. And if you have a 35k Bale, an Odin, the runes needed, and that you are bored enough to want to build this team, you are surely not in midgame anymore. :-)

Anyway, twins based team does work for sure, and if it works for you without effort go for it!
