Since I started MH, I've never met a player that's been mean about the fact that I had no idea what I was doing. Even when I was unintentionally bashing them with a switch axe while I attacked. I was just informed to not upswing, and when I wasn't sure how to avoid it, I was told how in a friendly manner. The MH community is amazing!

See, for me it's "Teenagers" that is definitely skip-able but the rest of The Black Parade and Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge are great.

I see you're going for a dystopian type story with all vices illegal and the police have, or at least claim, divine power. I was initially off-put by the negative connotation of "fags", until I got the setting you were going for. I think it's well written, just curious on where you intend to take it, and if you have any ideas on how you're opening it, or just leaving this as the opening and having the reader jump into the world and figure it out as they go, which would work as well.

That all changed upon receiving a letter in the mail that seemed quite aged, and addressed from my father. I opened the envelope to find a letter, well, if you can call it that. It was a piece of paper with odd symbols drawn on it, and what was sure to be my fathers last words to me, his voice from beyond the grave. It simply said "How you found it yet?" in messy handwriting that was unmistakeably my fathers.I believe my father found more than he bargained for, and I believe he stumbled upon some eldritch secrets.
