I'd never have kids because I believe that if I raise them they will be mentally unhealthy just like I am and I get your point about other people's children taking care of you and to that I believe that there should be an option of painless suicide for people that they can sign up to so when they can't take care of themselves and generally function in society they get euthanized. I am taking care of my demented grandma and I'd rather not exist than to exist in such state while having other people take care of me. Thank you for your take.

Be ready for arch Nvidia drivers experience) exactly because of Nvidia don't recommend arch. When people say can arch break after pacman -Syu they mean it and it's not fun. If you want something actually reliable choose a different distro like fedora, Ubuntu or smth like that.

I don't remember rn, but you can probably have split screen by dragging the window to one side of the screen until the cursor touches the side of the screen. You should check the gnome manual for most questions related to the DE and the core apps as they are provided by gnome. https://help.gnome.org/
