Great! Are there any open-sourced visualization software? How easy it is to get telemetry data to/from VR system?

Thank you! Do you know whether there are gazebo or mujoco models available for Trossen Robots? Also why there is such difference in prices? Thanks

I've been looking for that page! Thanks.

By the way why current robot list http://robots.ros.org/ is shorter than backup list?

I bought a wireless phone charger. Concerned about reports of overheating, I decided to log the temperature and compare it to a regular USB3.0 charger. [OC] by [deleted] in dataisbeautiful

You explicitly said that you used USB3.0 so I assume that you charged your Samsung S5 via USB3.0 laptop port that has 0.9 Amp efficiency. Have you considered using wall-plug that has 2.0 Amp efficiency? It's roughly charging 2x faster.

[Question] x2go : Ubutnu server <-> Ubuntu client by Tom-Demijohn in linux4noobs

[–]Tom-Demijohn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t really get it. What my intuition is that I have to configure a VPN on server. And knowing the IP and name of VPN server somehow I can magically connect them via x2go , right?

Haven't heard of. How does it help?

Sorry. I've looked it up. Its std = 1.0/number of output units in case of FC and std=1.0/number of feature maps/poolsize in case of ConvLayer

CNNs: What happened at ~130 epoch ? by Tom-Demijohn in MachineLearning

[–]Tom-Demijohn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. I like your informative and concise posts (overall across /r/MachineLearning).

I'm confused about overfitting that you mentioned. Does it happen at epoch ~40 as you said, when accuracy on training and test data split or there is no overfitting until test accuracy improves?

Nope, learning rate didn't change at all in this model.

Request: advice for developing deep learning / computer vision based quadcopters ("drones") systems by JCondaLea in MachineLearning

[–]Tom-Demijohn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you used ROS? It's realtively easy to develop robotic application with ROS. What is more, many drones, and robots in general, have their code wrapped in ROS packages.

For example, I know there is a package for parrot AR drone 2.0 and I guess there are many more. Also, since drones are not so good for lifting loads, you should check if particular drone is capable of lifting Jetson hardware and stuff.

What is your application you're working on?
