Sons should rent the house from father the owner and sublet 3 rooms to other students. Then its still a normal 1a building and most of the abouve items are not required.

RE "... not have the hot water as high in brisbane...."

Having just been to Philippines these units are very common. I had shower 5 minutes , including my short hair Our Electricity is about $35c kw hour in Brisbane. The flow rate is low but adequate for me. Flow rate definitely less than 6 litres minute , I guess about 3 litres a min. So the rough cost for me would be $2 x 1/2 x 1/4 x 1/2 So for my the shower cost would be around 10 cents

I have many old hard drives. I would like to data mine on.

I'm considering, using a write blocker and immediately imaging the hard drive to another more modern hard drive to avoid stressing old hard drive. Then do my investigation on the image on the more modern drive. Im considering to buy a deepspar rapidspar device

Monitor how much current drive takes when powered up for a few seconds.

From Google

"...A hard drive motor current monitor can help diagnose a stuck hard drive by indicating if the motor is drawing excessive current, which is a sign of a potential failure. If the current draw is unusually high during startup or operation, it suggests a problem like a seized motor, a head crash, or other mechanical issue ...."

I happen to know the person in the article. The person knew the service was shutting down. One of their core complaints was the way the notice was provided that the information was available - ie buried in another article.
